Anything is possible when you have a world class squad and funds available to add to it Georgie.

Good move for Barcelona, and probably for Sanchez too.

I wouldn't think so. I'd think Sanchez is a replacement for Bojan. They can easily rotate the 3 forward positions between Villa, Pedro, Messi and Sanchez. Especially considering the amount of games they play. And then have Afellay as backup.

I would agree with that one ... They are selling Bojan to AS Roma, but with a buy-back clause included ... If he continues with his development, we might see Bojan returning to Barca next summer, and Villa moving on ...

Villa leaving is still a high possibility, though. Barca had the same players when Zlatan was there and he was shipped off also. Sanchez in could mean he's leaving to help fund the deal. They know he'd have a lot of suitors with City and then El Fuckwit at Chelsea would no doubt persuade his best mate who he's never talked to Abramovic to whip out the cheque book.

Sanchez, Pedro, Messi, Afellay, as well as Iniesta, Adriano and Keita capable of playing there, then Jeffren and countless others vying for two spots.

The only thing that may keep him there is their lack of natural strikers.

      x2

Him and Aguero are the best players of that age group in the world available with Mata a not too distant third followed by Pastore.

I don't want United to get any of them and I hope they don't get Sneijder either. I'd begrudge them Jay Bothroyd if I had my way!

The race is between Barca and City now. Depends on how much he like money versus winning things.

I'd be happy for him to join City, if that enabled Johnson to come to Anfield.

Sorry to say this, but that doesn't make sense ... Alexis Sanchez has an awesome potential, and he could easily turn into a top 5 player in the world ... The arrival of such a player at City would actually make winning the league for LFC in the near future much more difficult ... Yes, Adam Johnson would make us better, but in this scenario, City would get even better ...

City are going to get better players no matter what and they can have their Galacticos - we'll have the team.  Most important thing for us is to get back to the top 4 - then WE can be getting players like Sanchez.  Don't forget, FFP rules will hamper them.
