ooops, I meant cole on the left and maxi on the right. lucas is great but we can't player every player at the same time.

So we play a player who's been awful this season for a player who's been brilliant. Where's the logic?

Who's the ref?

A Marriner is the ref. is it a good or a bad thing?

We seriously need to beat these bas**rds tomorrow for our own ambitions, lose and any remote chance of fourth place goes with it.

Personally at present, I would take a draw.

A win would be fantastic, taking us up to 5th.

But what are the odds in someone getting sent off? That would be worth a punt.

On 20 December 2008 it was confirmed that Marriner, at the age of 37 and along with 26-year-old Stuart Attwell, would be invited to join the list of international referees for 2009.

Marriner was called up to officiate at the elite qualification stage for 2009 Euro Under-19s Championship, taking charge of Norway's 1-1 draw with Romania on 20 May 2009 in Saint-Lô, and Romania's 3-0 defeat to France there three days later.

He was appointed to officiate the 2010 League Championship play-off final between Blackpool and Cardiff City at Wembley Stadium on 22 May. Blackpool won the match 3-2, all five goals having been scored in the first half, securing the club's return to the Premier League for the first time since the 1970-71 season. Marriner issued no cards for the duration of the final.

Can you name a Ref that does like us i cant.

Just been having a quick look round the forums, he's not the most popular referee anyway.  He was the ref that only gave Fellaini a yellow when he punched a Newcastle player back in 2004.  Makes a few shocking decisions by the looks of it.  Lets hope he's improved since then.

Im backing a red in this one, 50 million for a 10 man squad!

Marinner is a decent ref I think. Refereed the game against the scum at anfield when I was there last season.

Think kuyt was imense at receivin/controllin the ball on wedn and could be an much reqd asset in this match to + he'll break play up in middle of park nicely to!

Wouldn bet against a red for any defender vs HWDNM (he we do not mention) with bloods boilin... wait till 2nd half to pound the tw*t!

just been watching videos of saurez on u tube he is a dynamo if he scores as many goals as he did in holland. it can lift us up the table

I can't see Torres scoring tomorrow, he'll be too tightly marked.

Chelsea get a lot of favourable decisions at home, so i hope the Ref doesn't screw us.
