So many things are coming to my mind after what we've just seen. So I might as well say 'em:
If you told me after the Blackburn loss that we'd be in 6th place a month later, I'd have told you to shut up and not speak to me for a week.
But that's exactly what's happened.
The British media kept saying "Roy's not the problem", "it's Rafa's fault", "Roy inherited bad players and is getting bad results".
Look at where we are now.
The fans, sick of Roy, openly called for Dalglish to replace him. The media, as well as opposing fans, kept saying "they're the next Newcastle, calling upon old heroes to help him", and "How can you call for a manager whose been out of the game for a decade to save a sinking ship."
The King has gained 13 points in six matches this season, and has won more away League fixtures in four attempts than Roy had in ten.
Roy, back on October 4th, admitted in a press conference that Liverpool were "currently in a relegation battle", even noting that our chances of getting Champions League football were quite low.
We're currently in 6th place, 2 points away from safety with 12 matches remaining, and are currently twice as close to 4th place as we are from 17th (6 points compared to 12).
Simply put: It's amazing how things can change in a month, isn't it?
