I read quite a bit and I know there are people on here who read more than me but seriously, is there any point in having thousands of books? It would take years to get through 2000 books, even if you ignore new releases during that time.
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't complain if someone bought me a Kindle as a present but as books are so cheap nowadays, I'm pretty sure I can manage without.

Its the storage as well though. If you have 2000 books, its going to be hard to shelve them all. Kindle solves that. Plus you can never lose your page. Also, what happens if you lose a book you were reading or it gets damaged in some way?

You run that same risk with a Kindle, to be fair ;)

Except it would be hard to lose 2000 books but easy enough to lose a Kindle filled with 2000 books.
Besides, my point was that capacity is not an issue because 2000 books would be unnecessary to say the least.

Reading is easy and you can adjust the font size, unlike a mobile the Kindle can be read in the brightest of sunlight and even takes away the use of sunglasses, not like a normal book when at times you have to wear a pair of bins. The storage capacity is also unbelievable,up to 350,000 books.
I thought it was 3,500. AnywAy I bought one lAst night and il tell you about it when I get it.

I just went onto Vuze, my illegaly downloader, and searched Kindle Collection and it gives you a file that contains hundreds of books from top authors.

Discovered another issue with these things. A lad at work reads a lot and is interested in some of the same things as me. He used to lend any good books to me when he'd finished.
At Christmas his missus gave him a Sony version of the Kindle and I've only been able to borrow one book off him since! That's it now, he downloads everything instead.
