The Scouse accent is something we Asians aren't exactly familiar with!

Very good banter between the two lads on the couch, it seemed like Jamie just loves taken the piss outta Stevie ;D

You could tell that Kammy was dying to get the 'alright alright calm down calm down' joke in during the whole show!

anyone else notice the slip from Stevie saying how he would like to win trophies under Kenny in the next few years? Hope it's true :)

good interview. i'd be interested to know if all the nice thigns stevie said about roy are genuinely because he liked working with him, or because he's the captain and is being polite.

i reckon we're in for a treat when jc retires - he's outspoken as it is, imagine the interviews when he's no longer playing :)

I was thinking that but I just think he was being professional and saying that Roy's a good manager and the players just didn't work hard enough.

Even though I think he thought otherwise.

Carra saying Nani was too fast for him.

I actually think Carra was too fast because he reads the game so well :lmao:

Love that Stevie fully admits that he had his head turned, doesn't shy away from it. I mean we know he did, but he doesn't gloss it. But he seems fully happy he stayed regardless of what's happened. Love the guy!

I like it when Stevie said that he's glad he made the right decision to stay.

SG: My full debut in the Premier League was a big shock. You dream of getting to that stage and for 52 minutes it was just hell. I didn't feel fit enough or good enough, David Ginola was too strong and I felt like a boy in a man's game. It was a wake-up call. I thought I wasn't good enough but I had the right people around me, experienced players - Jamie Redknapp and Robbie Fowler. Gerard Houllier was fantastic, he put his arm around me and advised me on certain things. I've become a lot stronger these days.

Modest to the end. I remember reading / hearing an interview with someone at the club ages ago and they talked about Garrard's debut. The quote was something along the lines of, "usually when a young lad makes his debut, they are nervous and try to keep things very simple with short passes here and there. Stevie came on, picked the ball up and sprayed a 60 yard diagonal pass to [player]'s feet!"

Wish I could have seen it live, hopefully one day we can get a link up to watch the whole interview.
