Gerrard out for the season

think his body cant handle the premier league much anymore. he has simply been a workhorse and he has piled up high mileage. cant rely to heavily on stevie anymore his stats re  games and goals are telling the story.

It's just a simple case of burn out! with a couple of decent signings -decent - being the operative word. Then we wont be as reliant on him next season, and he can skipper us to that elusive 19th

why are people surprised. Im actually glad, he can now get uber fit for next season.

I agree with this.  Nothing to play for now, except finishing above the blues.  Let him rest and be back fighting fit and able at the start of the next campaign.

Now with Stevie out, our only real play maker, i just hope to fuk that we dont just punt the ball 60 yards up the part to Carroll. Time for the rest of the team to really pull together and try to finish the season in style. Remember lads pass and move, the Liverpool way.

Tell him to rest, rest, rest. Let him have a break with his family abroad or whatever. Just make sure he can start pre-season on the front foot without any niggles.

Need to start thinking of him as an option, rather than a regular now. He simply does not have the body to keep up for most of the games every season anymore.
