Jamie Redknapp - Four, Four, Two Magazine
      Apr 06, 2011 12:36:34 pm
I see all these Judas chants directed at Jamie Redknapp for some of the comments he says on the TV, but pay little attention.  Just reading the latest edition of FourFourTwo, where Jamie has picked his perfect 11 and it doesn't include one single Liverpool Player.  Every month I see some biased inclusions, who I didn't rate. But not one Liverpool player.......Seriously.

And to top it all, his chosen Manager Old whiskey drinking red nose Manc.

      Team is

      Schmeichel
      G Neville
      Adams
      Terry
      Cole

      C Ronaldo
      Scholes
      Vieira
      Giggs

      T Henry
      Shearer

Subs. Lampard,Roy Keane, Bruce, Zola & Cantona.

PS. Good write up about John Henry, Suarez & Carroll

How you can't include Steven Gerrard as one of the best CM in the past decade in the premiership is beyond me.

      Redknapp fuckign bewilderes me sometimes.

Lost a hell of a lot of respect for Jamie a long time ago, some of the tripe he spouts about us really pees me off. I really liked him as a player and was gutted for him with all the injuries but now I just think Wan ker.

Anyone in there right mind would have Stevie G in any all time Prem 11, just ask Zidane, Mourinho, Dalglish etc and as for putting Vieira or Scholes ahead of him

To me he's just another face of Sky and is possibly one of the worst pundits on telly right now. He's the classic pundit who just jumps on whatever bandwagon is going and has no tactical nous or real knowledge.

      He's also boring as F**k.

      It's his opinion.

He has chosen a strong 11, all 11 players in there are argueably the best the prem has seen, even if there are no liverpool players in there.

Im suprised at gerrards absence myself because in my opinion he is a better footballer than both vieira and scholes, however they have league titles to their name whilst stevie doesn't and thats what many people look at unfortunately! If liverpool had won the league a handfull of times this past decade then its guranteed not only will people say gerrard has been the best midfielder of his generation but maybe of all time as well. Its stupid but it's true!

As for carragher and Sami, in my opinion both aren't the best the premiership have seen. Both have been awesome for us but there have been better defenders in the prem during their time.

Anyway, I like Redknapp personally, maybe biased because he was a hero growing up and one of my favourite players, but I always think he speaks honestly which I respect him for, whether I agree with it or not.

Pundits like Gray for example, clearly have it in for LFC due to their past connections and they are the ones I cannot stand. Redknapp for me just speaks his honest opinion.

He is trying to please all, and not look biased towards us I think.

But I caught him on sky doing one of our games, and he was saying us a few times. ;D.

He picked his best Premiership 11 in this month's Sky magazine as well, and Gerrard was in it.  Strange.

Liked him as a player but have no time for him as a 'pundit'.  Him and his Da are Sky media whores and they're both getting tiresome.

      What the hell?

A Steven Gerrard who has been probably consistent from 1999-2009 does not make the bench?

Dunno what the big deal is? Just because he didn't think Gerrard in the premier XI should he really get this abuse. He got similar abuse when he said Torres was not trying and in fact he was right.

I'm sure if you ask 100 non-biased fans quite a few would not put Gerrard in the premier league XI

A lot of United players are in this team, to many actually but they have been the best team by far in the premier league era so in truth they should have more players in the team.

I would say Gerrard is ahead of Scholes but we're biased as Liverpool fans. I'm sure United fans would say the same about Scholes.

Don't think he should get this must hatred just for thinking Scholes has been better then Gerrard.
