no we dont, we just need to accept that linesmen & refs make mistakes just like players & managers.

yes we would all like evrything to be right 100% but its not & thats part of life as well as the game we love.

technology eh? so when do you stop the game to look? who deciedes that? after every little thing, once the balls in the net? where will it end & what if plays brought back only to find nothing wrong when it could have gone on resuklting in a goal....?

      its a minefield.

just get on with iot, this is football------------------------not cricket

Simple, each manager has three appeals.  Rule it on or offside as normal and the opposing manager can use appeal when the ball goes dead.  It only takes seconds to get most decisions right.

The game has evolved beyond you bumbling dinosaurs. Technology is needed, IMO, and it wouldn't 'ruin the game' any more so than a bad decision by the ref.

If our lass steps out of the kitchen, she's offside.  :f_tongueincheek:

I think the offside rule is a bit of a joke at the minute and would be better just to simplify it.

You should only be offside if you whole body is clearly ahead of the last defender and they should scrap the inactive/active player bulls*it as it's far too complicated.

Anyone offside should be offside which would clear any of the doubts if a player is influencing the play.
