To me that looks like the most likely really, well going by the papers anyways.

A good British spine to it too. The only thing really that it is missing is enough quality flair players, although I'm sure Suarez has enough to cover a few lads!

One thing I think we're all guilty in this thread is to dismiss Kuyt's participation too easily, I think Carroll will have to work his socks off before he justifies being picked ahead of the dutchman

I'd agree that this is starting to look like our most likely team. And IMO it's a very strong team, maybe not title winning but defiantly top 4.

I'd agree with this too. That is why I don't think it's a title winning team. For example, many times next season we'll get 65 minutes into a game and it's 0-0, and we need somebody to make that difference to get us that winning goal. There's only 2 players who I can see us making that difference time and time again, Gerrard and Suarez. If you put Mata in for N'zogbia, then that's a title winning team.

Although the our squad would be far stronger and I'd put Henderon over Meireles too. I haven't seen anything in Meireles which shows me he's nothing more then average.

Good point but I do think Carroll will be higher in the perking order but Kuyt will be keeping him on his toes.

I would love Benzema but we probs won't get him. So I would take Wickham as he is upcoming talent. If we did get Benzema I could see us using him in a rotation with Carroll and anyways Carroll seems to be injury prone so Benzema would get playing time.
