I'd nearly keep him on the bench to be honest. If needs be, give him 25 mins to get fitness up, and then keep him for Spurs. There was a few rumours around today that he wasen't gonna play at all.

I understand the thought behind saving him for the Spurs game and only giving him a run out near the end to gain a little fitness, but I have to disagree with this point of view.  In my opinion, our most potent attacking threat is the forward line we fielded against City with Suarez, Kuyt and Carrol.  We are going to have to be at our absolute best to beat a hungry Spurs team who we are fighting with for European footie next term, and that means Carrol is going to need to find some goalscoring form BEFORE that game.  I would play him from the start tonight in hopes of getting him on the score sheet, and then take him off around the 60-70 minute mark.  We need to get him sharp for the game against Spuds! 

Hope Carroll starts because the less time him and Suarez get together now, the longer they will need come August when we really need to start firing straight away.

People on RAWK (yeah I know) are saying Carroll didn't travel with the squad. Just saying.

This won't be another 3-4 nil IMO. Fulham away are a different animal to Birmingham or Newcastle at home IMO. This will be a hard game and I think we'll win 1-0. Craven Cottage is a fortress for Fulham.

I think our confidence and winning mentality that we currently have will see us through.

Shocking how bad our results are with this ref, played 7 won 0.  We average a point less per game than with all other refs.

So we've got 3 mongers of doom in our midst. Is there an LFC fan out there who'd like to admit that they genuinely expect us to lose tonight?

It really shouldn't matter who's ref if we go out there and do our job properly, I want 3 points tonight so badly and it will actually put a put a little positivity on what other wise has been a terrible day for me on a personal level.

Screw the ref, the history of results, and whatever other stats people can churn out left, right and centre.

None of that should matter, since this game is hugely important, and Kenny will have drummed that into the players.

I expect us to go out looking for all three points from the off, as we should every match.

I'm confident we'll do them over, and stake our claim to fifth spot or higher.
