One of the most over rated goals in my opinion. Don't get the fuss about it.

I'm going to say Rooney vs City. Was a brilliant goal. Also the goal was the winner vs local rivals so always makes it that little better.

A deflection of the cross and a Rooney doesn't even connect with it properly, just about sums up a perfect spawny Utd goal.

And is this from MOTD before, because I missed some of them, so not sure which were included, but off the top of my head I'd of gone for James McCarthy's goal which had some fantastic skill and a great take down and was well finished.

I think if Suarez had scored that first goal (Kuyt letting it roll in), he would probably get the best goal of the season especially since he took on 3 players and just arrived in January.

Can't really remember anymore good goals other than Raul's technically brilliant first time volley against Wolves and Shrek's overhead kick in the Manchester derby.

Whatever Torres wins or does doesn't matter to me. Ideally, wouldn't want to win him anything but rather Chelsea than Man United.

Still wouldn't call it best of the season. Any overhead is good, but as has been mentioned - deflection and then not even hit right. He just got lucky.

Now Rauls v Wolves, that was someone striking the ball cleanly and as intended, and it looked beautiful. To be fair i don't have great memories of other teams great goals as i only watch Liverpools highlights time and time again

Tiote v Arsenal was nice though!

And as much as i hate to say it, nando's second against Chelsea was a great goal as well.

As has been said it's overrated for me as he didn't even connect with it properly and I've seen far better overheads over the years than that.

Also Lucas Leiva is not a centre forward and if he scored an overhead I would probably do a lap of honour around the house. Still doesn't mean Rooney's goal was any good.

I'll pick Bale vs Stoke or Rooney vs Man City.

Or Meireles vs Wolves.
