Stoke manager Tony Pulis has been warned about his future conduct by the Football Association after making comments about referee Howard Webb.
He praised the appointment of Webb for his side's FA Cup semi-final against Bolton last month.
Pulis is the latest manager to fall foul of new FA rules stipulating managers should not comment on referees before matches.
"The FA has today warned Tony Pulis as to his future conduct," said the FA.
Its statement added: "The Stoke City manager's warning relates to his pre-match media comments prior to the FA Cup semi-final against Bolton Wanderers on 17 April."
Pulis said of Webb: "He's as good as there is. What makes him special is that little bit of an aura he has about him."
Manchester United's Sir Alex Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti of Chelsea have both been similarly warned in recent days.
So we just have to say he's a great Ref and we win.
