You cant be putting Erik Meijer in there. Granted he was sh*t and only scored 2 goals. He gave his all and he was in Dortmund with the red army singing along prior to the Uefa Cup Final back in 2001. Bit of a cult hero our Erik!

Don't worry mate, I was having a cheeky dig at the people who put the likes of Aquilani in their team simply because he was a Rafa signing. Very few of my selections were serious.

Players unlucky to miss out:

Phil Babb - With his testicular problems after the goal post incident I still feel very sorry for him.
Erik Meijer - Crap but was not hateful, unlike Mr. Diouf and (ever so slightly) better than Voronin
Sean Dundee - Truely awful but same as Meijer
Joe Cole - Has been a disaster at the club
Degan - Has played fook all so hard to know how crap he actually is
Josemi - still baffles me how Rafa thought he was better than Finnan for a while
Traore - Cant believe he's a professional footballer, but in fairness he had an epic performance in 2005 CL Final
Biscan - As Ingo said he's a cult hero. And scored a cracker against Fulham a few years back
Westerveld - I always liked him when he was with us but on reflection he was extremely unreliable

What does it matter if he's in the who shook the Kop top 100 or not? That does not guarantee his reputation. Put it this way - you can be the most popular employee within your company and still do a crap job. The senior management will always remember the latter.
