      Need For Speed

      Anyone else got this.
I have to say the driving dynamics are woeful for anything but 4wd.
Have become addicted to modifying and designing the cars I upgrade.
Have a Gallardo, NSX, RX7, Stingray, Integrale.
Biggest mistake I made was boosting the NSX over 1000 on the performance rating. It was a fantastically balanced car sub 1k but is now undriveable. The Lambos 4wd makes it handle as if it's on rails.
Have not played the drift serious part. Tried and finished the tutorials but F**k me that's ridiculously sensitive

      Shift 2.
Only got my own PS3 so don't have a huge collection.
"Borrowed" some games and have Shift 2 and the new Motorstorm

I'm not a huge fan of racing games like this. Prefer combat racing like Mario Kart on the Wii but the closest to that for the PS3 is Modnation Racers, which I have since bought.

Didn't even know there was a shift 2, even more money to spend arghhhh, I should sell you some games I've got 30 here. :D

I love the needs for speed series, still haven't finished hot pursuit yet as Cod normally takes hold of me.

My games list is going up drastically.

      La Noire
      Cod MW3
      Battlefield 3
      Shift 2

      Theres around £120-00 there.

If you do get it I would immediately fund some aero, tyres and suspension.
Otherwise you'll come close to smashing your remote through the screen on the more powerful cars.

Saw the ad for Dirt 3 last night. It said, 'No game footage' at the beginning so I was expecting incredibly slick graphics. In fact they were sh*t and the cars seemed to bobble along the ground pretty unrealistically. Dread to think what the actual gameplay looks like!

Well in Drift2 the midengined rearwheeldrive NSX I bought turned into a wheelspinning constantly spinning monster when I fitted the level 3 turbo. Pity I didn't know what was coming before I payed for the works conversion. Now I have a stunning looking car that is slower than the Gallardo I had to subsequently buy.

Oh and a warning. Don't boost your cars to the maximum. The game changes your rivals to suit your class in some of the unrestricted levels. So if you go past 1000 in the retro europe level you'll find yourself trying to beat the McLaren f1 that all your rivals are in. Mind you when I save my points I'm having that car. You can buy it on the store but I'm not paying for it.

A lot of McLaren cars on this game, which is a bonus
