I don't know what you're basing that on, I think most people would rather have Henderson than Cattermole.

I don't want to cause any arguments, but the forums have been full of anti-Henderson posts recently.

If you go into any transfer thread there's an anti (insert player name) collective. I don't think there's that many people excited about the idea of signing Cattermole.

I'm not anti Henderson, I'm anti paying £15m-£20m for him. ;D

I'm just shocked Cattermole is 23. Thought he was much older.

Still, bit of a strange one. I suppose if he learned to reign it in a little then he would be a much better player but to tell you the truth I haven't watched that much of him to form a proper opinion of the lad. Other than him being sent off a lot, yet even that is probably a massive misconception on my part. :D

Can't see any need for him, the media is going to link us to any half decent young English player the majority like IMO this one is more media bull.

Lee would be a good option to have but really what would of been the point in signing Spearing as he would pretty much be cover for Lucas. Isn't like we are playing a 3 man middle where sometimes the extra CDM can come in handy.

This one baffles me. Rarely are we linked with a player that I shake my head and go "oh my absolute F**k". Is he really any better than what we have already got. No!

      Thank you, come again.

Liverpool plot £10m swoop for Sunderland midfielder

      Published 23:00 16/07/11
      By Alan Oliver

Liverpool could be set to make a £10million move for Lee Cattermole – with the Sunderland player devastated at losing the captaincy to new boy John O’Shea.

Black Cats boss Steve Bruce has handed his recent signing from Manchester United the armband, delivering a massive blow to the tenacious Cattermole.

And now the Merseysiders are keeping tabs as Kenny Dalglish continues his policy of signing top English players – and the former Wigan midfielder, 23, could be next.

Don't believe this is going to happen for one minute, the team would not benefit at all from this signing.

Not keen on him at all. Some tackles he makes are properly wild and he comes across a bit of a talentless thug.
