spot on... Touch wood pepes injury record is fantastic, suspensions are very rare, I'm struggling to remember any bar the robben incident ..

Dmasta stop lying about killing a man with a trident (or provide pics as proof).  Regarding Doni though, it's one of those things that a club just does and you have no opinion on either way.  If he's labelled as a flop by the majority, it's probably a good sign he's actually done exactly what he was supposed to do - rot on the bench while Pepe keeps playing

Not sure whether its good or not, by Pepe's record we might not need him, apart from league cup games but experience around the place wont go a miss.

Alexander Doni close to Liverpool move claims agent

Roma goalkeeper Alexander Doni could complete a move to Liverpool in the next 36 hours, according to his agent.

The clubs reached an agreement over Doni's transfer last month but the keeper rejected Liverpool's first offer, believing it to be too low.

However, the player could still be on his way to the Premier League before the weekend.

"In the next 36 hours we will know something definite," Doni's agent Ovidio Colucci told Press Association Sport.

"Liverpool are interested in Doni and there is the agreement between the two clubs and with the player.

"Doni is in Italy right now.

"We just have to ratify certain details with Roma.

"If the deal is completed, Doni will join Liverpool on a free transfer and will sign a two-year contract.

"Doni is very happy with the chance to go to Liverpool and play in the Premier League."

The Brazilian joined Roma in 2005 from Juventude in his homeland.

If Kenny wants a solid backup to Pepe and doesn't rate Brad Jones that is good enough for me. Hopefully our big Spaniard plays another 38 Premiership games but. As long as Doni doesn't complain about his position.
