I can understand why people doubt; I can also understand why people question Jürgen for picking him [even tho' they'll tell everyone else to trust the man] - I just don't understand why a Liverpool 'fan' would feel the need to be abusive about their Captain. There's simply no need. That's all.

Disagree with most thing with KS however have to 100% back this post; you read some of the things said by Liverpool legends and there was a time in this clubs history when the captaincy was little more than a ceremonial sign of respect. There was a time when there was an expectation that there should be XI captains out there on the pitch; now it seems that the captain not only has to be the strongest mentality, but also the primary goal scorer when the club is down late in a match.

As far as Jordan goes with mental weakness I think he has done just fine seeing how he is the guy that was chosen to replace the living legend as captain...you never really want to be that guy because you can never live up to what he was. 

I think last season when he played in the middle with Milner it didn't work. Two hard working players who run a lot and get a lot of assists you would think would be great...sadly they weren't.

Wouldn't break my heart if we sold him, but in a midfield three or maybe with someone other than Milner and we may see him back to his best ...if he's completely over his injury.

What is he excellent at except running? He might have the odd good game against lower league teams, but that's it.

He's probably in the most important position in the whole team and consistently plays a 6/10.

He's not a bad player. Just very average. If we want to be a top level team, then he needs to replaced... Captain and his place in the 11.
