He was superb mate, ran Salah close for motm (along with Bobby). Was worried he might be vulnerable to missing the final if we get through but evidently it takes a red to miss it (or three yellows) which is great news considering we've got three lads on a yellow now.

He needs to be careful in the return leg. He is on a yellow and we need him badly for the final. Situation worries me.

Yep, a Captains game for sure. If Salah hadn't got 2 goals and 2 assists, Hendo was my MTM for sure.

3 yellows for a suspension? That's why yellows are wiped out for semi's, so there is more chance of your best players playing in the final.

It's amazing how when our front three and other midfielders are on song that nobody mentions Jordan. Yet as soon as the other 2 midfielders aren't creating the blame soon gets laid at his feet. He was never meant to be a creator, he was bought as a midfield general, that is his duty.

Yea it really was. Don’t want to jinx him but he seems to be growing into his Captain role. Hope he stays fit and firing on cylinders as he has been.

John Collins is an egocentric fud. Literally would eat himself if he was made of chocolate.

Skipper was immense - blocks in all over the place and generally a very calm influence.

I would place greater store in the right wing hate filled rantings of Joan Collins.

To be fair, there is an element of truth about it.

Not suggesting it’s confidence, could be fatigue, but often in games I think Hendo can go in to hiding. John Collins has hit the nail on the head when he says he is not making angles to receive the ball. I notice it a lot, not necessarily in just the big games which would suggest it’s not a confidence thing.

How often do we see our back 4 having to bypass the midfield and go long? Now that may be because of the forwards we have but often there is nothing on and it’s only played out of a necessity because there is nobody to receive the ball.

Not meaning to slate Hendo because he has been great for us this season (first leg against Roma his best in a red shirt imo) but this is definitely an area where he needs to improve.

Not his best performance last night, didn't really do much to protect the defence.

Was particularly annoyed with with their 3rd goal, no idea what Hendo was doing parked alongside the CB's. He should have been patrolling the zone in front of the defence and blocking that shot which ended up going in off the post.
