Martinez and Mata are the stand out players on show, if I was Kenny that is who I would have been targetting. Martinez was a Rafa target for years. Henderson has done okay.

Think I would add the goalscorer to that aswell Corbally, has hardly given the ball away and been very difficult to mark.

Really no excuse for this STILL being the default 'get out of trouble plan' for English footballers (infact all British ones).

They have more than enough talent to pass it about but as soon as English teams meet a side that is out playing them 90% of the time they revert to kick and chase.

Awful pass from Henderson, not a very inspired performance by England, too much hoofing, kick and rush, I thought those days were over... the only way to get into the box are those long crosses

Forget what I said about Henderson not giving the ball away, has done that multiple times in the 2nd half now... obviously Im not going to judge a player for 1 game but he's uninspired to say the least
