Liverpool International Carnival �DE MELTING POT ...a marriage of a mas culture
A moving piece of combined arts, comes to life with music, dance and costumes, a celebration of our diverse city. Building on the success of 2010 we now live in a transformed world a melting pot of diverse culture where every creed and race find an equal place the �rainbow people�. This year�s project focuses on the cultural diversity of Liverpool and England where people from different cultures and backgrounds can live in harmony and �as one�. Our visual inspiration is the seven colours of the rainbow married with modern costume design, we will look at the Rainbow People and the diversity of this young modern world where we will create a mas mosaic of colour, people and culture. This will also showcase a tapestry of Liverpool and the UK diverse communities and culture on route bringing to life the streets of Liverpool with colour, dance, music and community all the elements of CARNIVAL!

Starts : Mulberry Street Ends: Princes Park Parade Route: Mulberry St, Catharine St, Princes Rd, Princes Ave, Devonshire Rd, Princes Park Please be informed that there will be a road closure from 7am - 12 noon there after it will be a rolling road closure from 12 - 2pm Bus routes: Arriva 75, 80/80A, all 82 except 82A, 86, stage coach: 86 or 82s. or you can take ant bus that stops at Queen Sq or Liverpool 1 bus station. Train travel: any train that takes you to Liverpool Lime St, or Central station and you can walk up from these stations with 10 mins.

Another boss event this one. Last year's was a scream. So many people from all over the city and even further a field taking part in it. Drumming, music/singers dancing, scran, other stalls. Can't wait for this year's. Love getting up to Prinny Park for it.
