Champions League Group Stage Draw - 30th August @ 5pm

Well the draw will be made at 5pm tomorrow, who would you like us to get?

Unfortunately the draw will be a bit messy this year due to complications regarding Sevilla's game being postponed, but provisional seeding is as follows:

Some of these teams still have qualifiers to play tonight (or Monday in Sevilla's case) so the seeding could be open to changes, but the way it will work is you'll have a 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th seed in each group.

Personally I'd be happy with PSV from the 2nd seeds, Steaua Bucharest from the 3rd, and anyone apart from Rangers or Marseille from the 4th seeds.

From the second group, PSV and Ajax for me.
Anyone but Celtic from the 3rd group....
Anyone but Rangers and Marsielle from the 4th group...

But I think we can beat anyone there.

3. CSKA Moscow (cos of possible time of year travelling out there)
4. Dynamo Kiev (same reason as CSKA)

Got to say not afraid of Valencia, watched them on Saturday and they look a totally different team without Ayala, plus there are a few other older players including nando.

Ajax could be a more dangerous team though, 12 goals scored in two games!!

Apart from Ajax, Sevilla and maybe Porto, I'd say my ideal group would be Valencia, Celtic and Fenerbache.

We draw Celtic, it means we cannot get Rangers, so if we can avoid marseille, I would take anyone of the other teams, plus I met a few good Fenerbache fans in Istanbul

I think Sevilla will be a dark horse this year & maybe one to avoid...

Ajax schalke and aek on paper looks the best draw but you never know theres always one or 2 surprises

i would like to face rangers or celtic it would be a brilliant tie.

I know this is a bit off topic but the number of biiters I have asked if there are looking forward to tomorrow, (UEFA Draw) and none of them have a clue! One asked who are we playing in the milk cup!

would be nice. but don't care really as we should easily get to the knockout stages.

I've got a family do on in some posh bar down the Albert Dock during the 'draw' so I will be glued to my mobile!

dunno why people are scared of maybe getting rangers, after they just about scraped through last night against basically a unknown team i think we would hammer them to be honest, am i right, am i wrong, who knows.

celtic tho would be the kinda team that lift there game against us id rather avoid them and any trips into the east of europe

I bet my bottom Dollar we get Celtic and marseille Rangers and valencia. Kinda reminds me when we got Chelsea year after we won it.

Wouldn't mind getting Rangers! We'd smash them as I feel the Scottish League is much weaker than ours!

My ideal group would be Werder Bremen, CSKA Moscow and Rangers! Large Celtic roots in me family and I'd love to see 'em all cheering us on if we got them! I don't know why, but I just feel like we'd do over Bremen!

I hope we avoid Sevilla at all costs! I feel like they'll fly in Europe this season! 

P.S.V,Celtic and Rosenberg will do for us we should mange that one.

Great! So we have Marseille...Cisse with an axe to grind, we have Porto....a certain Mr Quaresma and the Turks at Besitkes.....Not bad. Fairly confident. Obviously every game is important but now 4 out of 6 games have little bit extra

Happy enough with that, TBH we should've been able to beat any of the 2nd 3rd & 4th seeds.

Haha, have to feel sorry for Rangers!

My prediction for our group is us 1st, Porto qualifying second, and Marsielle then Besiktas. We can't get complacent against the last two though, and Porto proved troublesome vs Chelsea last year. Overall I'm not that happy with it, but none of those three times would have wanted to draw us...

FCPorto, LiverpoolFC don't have chance to face them in Feneyord port football competition. I wonder if they got stronger, they're now in second place of the Portuguese Liga (they've just played 2 games, 2 wins, scored 3 goals). Marseille is tough, they're second of Ligue 1 last season, they also got Zendel and Cisse from LiverpoolFC, those two always appears in starting lineup, good for them (but now Marseille's in 14th place, played 6 games, 1 win, 2 loss, 3 draws). Besiktas finish at second place last season with 58 points (the first, Fenerbahce got 64 points), they got 17 wins, 7 draws and 8 loss, they scored 42 goals last season.
The fixture'll be up tonight, must always stay logged on.

Very happy with that draw. Although with our record in Europe you got to be confident no matter who you face.

Pretty easy draws for the English sides, although Celtic and Rangers will find it really tough. Especially Rangers, who I must say I have a soft spot for having been to Ibrox a few times. Although for them I don't suppose they will mind a trip to the Nou Camp as they are not expected to do much!

Overall a reasonably comfortable draw for us that should really see us qualify with ease. No long trips really apart from Turkey, but we just love going there
