Quality line up that, expect Adam to partner Spearing in the middle, with Aquilain in behind Carroll, and Downing and Henderson on the flanks, could be a great match this.

Valencia line up? Also F**k i just dislocated my shoulder. But F**k, hospital can wait. Come on you reds!!

Will be interesting to see how Adam, Henderson and Aquilani perform today.. With Gerrard, Meireles and Suarez unavailable this is close to the strongest lineup we could put out (Lucas and Kuyt for Spearing and Henderson theonly possible exceptions)...

I really hope he stays. Love the guy and his passing is going to be incredibly helpful.

Aqua has been given the chance he has wanted and against a decent team let's see how he does.

This for me is were our season starts. Need a good showing and have the starting line up to put in a good shift. Id love to see Aqua and Adam link well because I fear for Stevie this season and can see them 2 being vital and would be good if they link well.

Good to have a few choices for a team I have to admit.

Really interested in how many (not who) we line up with in the middle of the park - I'm hoping to see three.

It's getting close to the big kick-off and surely this game will see the unveiling of what Kenny sees as his preferred formation (if not players). I'm actually hoping for an open attacking game...the Reds winners in a five goal feast.

Aurelio is a big worry not only in the fitness department but quality wise and pace wise he's lacking.  Keep an eye on Carragher again this is a good barometer.  

Think Kenny will tell them before they go out on the pitch, to treat this liek the first day of teh season. Don't hold back and make sure you try your damn best. Great to see Aquilani playing, if I am honest. Not always been one to shout up for him, even lately, but he deserves a start and deserves to show what he can do. Hope teh defence stays tight and I find it very interesting that Aurelio starts. Could we see that starting defence line this time next week?

I am in work until 11. I will try not to find the score out until then and go home and watch it...but then again, i may just give-in.

Lets hope we can keep a clean sheet...

Got worried when i didn't see Meireles's name in that team but i've just read that he's not fit enough to play. Phew!

Decent line up. Expecting a better performance defensively but more importantly a good win.
