With no Europe this season, the Carling Cup presents a very good opportunity to pick up the first trophy of Kenny's second stint as manager.

Would love a trophy and a trip to Wembley so I have to admit I'm pretty excited even though some people on here don't rate this cup at all.

Really want Kenny to take this trophy seriously, although in the past i have spoke of how this cup is for the "small teams", i know feel it is more important for us to get this trophy then ever, not because we win a trophy but because we will have a winning mentality when it comes to cup competitions, if we can win this, who says we can't go on and win the F.A cup and with that kind of form and mentality, we can have a real crack at the tittle, i feel with Europe out the way this season, we should be challenging for everything, League, F.A, Carling cup, 2/3 won't be too bad .

Really looking forward to this for the first time in years. Where I (and I assume most of you) wanted to look away from this trophy having to be subjected to the likes of Poulsen, Jovanovic and co making a mockery of the club now I can look forward to viewing the youngsters. Coady, Flanegan, Coady even Raheem Sterling perhaps?!
