Definitely talking about a majority here, we really need some research and the FA are the perfect  body to get to the bottom of the mystery.   

Can't wait for him to come back, missed his Swag on the pitch.

Anyone know what is going on with Enrique?  he was supposed to be back at the end of January. 

I think he's very underrated and is a quality LB, reliable, gets the job done, makes some mistakes going forward on occasion but you can't have a superstar in every position.  Of course he doesn't have Aurelio's natural talent but I think we still look much better with him at LB than anyone else in the squad.  Of course he's about a thousand times better than Cissokho.

He's been out for such a long time---wonder what the deal is.  We need him back if we're going to push for the title.

In any event we need him back ASAP.  I know many will disagree with me but when Enrique is fit I don't think we need a new LB.  Is he a superstar?---no.  But even the best teams have role players.  We can't have someone of Suarez's caliber at every position.  Enrique is a fine player who gets the job done and has really grown into the role.  With Flanagan getting better and better each day, I don't think that if Enrique is fit that we need to target LB in the summer.

He's certainly our best LB mate and we have missed him , he's a steady eddy type without being in the Roberto Carlos mould, but we do need cover in that position so I would be in the hunt for a younger healthier player, the lad Shaw certainly fits the ideal but something tells me he'll be heading down the Kings rd fairly soon.

When someone struggles at 28 with a mysterious illness I fear it's he's going to be a player that will have injury issues well into the future.  Our best option is to get him back to fitness and keep him on as a backup. We need someone more reliable as number 1 lb. I don't think Flanagan is the answer just yet because he can be clumsy with fouls... but one day I think he'll be number 1 lb.

I think his season is a right off. By the time he's fit there will prob be 4 or 5 games left. Given the length of his absence, you're talking 2-3 games minimum for him to get up to speed, so what's the point?

It seems like a bad injury to have at this stage of this career, which is a shame. Regardless I think it's imperative that we bring in a top left back in the summer along with maybe a full back as well. I think that much was clear even before he was injured.

Have a feeling we may never see him in a red shirt again, it's too quiet.

From what I read a while back, he had the option of an operation or hoping rest would fix it. Presumably if it's not right soon he will have to have an op if he is to be ready for next season.

What is the word on Enrique   We aren't really missing him at the moment, but it would be nice to have him as an option in case one of Flano/Johno pick up a knock...

Last I heard was a couple of months ago when he'd gone out to the States to see a specialist.

Well he's only played 8 league games this season so based on the old method of awarding medals he wouldn't have done. However, I believe the FA now allocate a certain amount of medals to the winning club and the manager then awards them to the players he thinks should get one.

I have a feeling he will.

Not the greatest Enrique fan and I can see us signing at least one new full back. He'll get in ahead of Flanagan though.

No, I've had a feeling for a long time that BR doesn't rate him that highly anyway. Pretty sure a LB and RB will be high on the priority list. There's of course the massive issue that he may not come back anywhere near as good as he was anyway.

I honestly believe the wing back areas is where we lost the title race and it is by far our biggest weaknesses both going forward and in defence.
