      Glad to see him go. Good guy but not good enough player for LFC. Best of luck to him wherever he goes.

      So, Soto has gone, good luck to the lad, always tried his best, just not really upto it.

      Surely this must mean we are now in the market for a CB.

      I'd take Coates, Cahill, or Dann. In that order really.

      Was always going to be a stop-gap player.

      With new owners and a new club philosophy, I'm not surprised.

      Thanks for everything Soto. Pretty sure with several players leaving recently, freeing up wage funds, we'll see a new CB before September.

      Liverpool FC this afternoon confirmed that Sotirios Kyrgiakos had left the club and joined Bundesliga outfit Wolfsburg.

      The Greek defender made 49 appearances for the Reds, scoring three goals, after signing from AEK Athens in August 2009.
