Id prefer to sign no one rather than him moaning again about being a bit part player because he hasn't a hope in hell of being a regular

And this is why i dont want him back...

Rafa Benítez made my life a misery at Liverpool, says Yossi Benayoun
"Everyone asks me why I left Liverpool," said Benayoun. "There is only one reason – Rafa Benítez."

The midfielder says the Spaniard, who left Liverpool to manage Internazionale, never treated him with respect he felt he deserved.

"If I played well, I never felt he gave me credit," he told the News of the World.

It's gonna be the Joe Cole saga all over again if we get him, an old, past-his-best-player from Chelsea who isn't of much use to us i think

Not good enough for us anymore. Too old and costs too much for wages.

For me he was always a player who gave us something and had an eye for goal, I can't see him being a bad addition at all. Kenny knows best.

Don't want him back no way.
He wouldn't get close to the 1st team now.

Good luck Yossi Arsenal for you lad.

Younger than Bellamy, was more prolific than Bellamy (for us) made more assists than Bellamy and contributed more to the team than Bellamy. Not too bothered that we won't sign Benayoun, just can't understand the wave of positivity over the Bellamy signing.

This is true, and my reasoning exactly.

And no, stats don't tell the whle story, but Benayoun was a better player for us than Bellamy, the stat was only one further point.

I agree Yossi was a better player for us last time.
But i also believe we didn't get anywhere near the best
out of Bellemy & i believe he was a better player then &
      he still is.

Yossi is good but he broke is Anchillies, at 31 I just dunno if he will be the sam after that. Arsenal have an injury prone squad already so he will fit in perfect there.

      Benayoun discusses Arsenal loan
Israeli in talks with Chelsea's London rivals

      Last Updated: August 31, 2011 7:09pm

Sky Sports sources understand Chelsea's Yossi Benayoun is in talks with Arsenal over a potential season-long loan move to Emirates Stadium.

The Israeli is expected to leave the Blues before the transfer deadline and has also been linked with former club Liverpool.

Benayoun, who only joined Chelsea last summer, was a target of French champions Lille, but he turned down a move to France.

Arsene Wenger's rebuilding Arsenal, though, appear to appeal to the playmaker and he is holding discussions with Chelsea's London rivals.

Benayoun's time with Chelsea has been disrupted by serious injury and the arrival of Juan Mata this summer has limited his chances.

Arsenal are also thought to be preparing a £10million cash offer for Everton's Mikel Arteta, as they aim to replace Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.

The performances of Andrey Arshavin and Tomas Rosicky in a disappointing start to the season have also raised concerns at Emirates Stadium.

I am not sure either would be a great signing for us. Just can't understand the negativity over Benny, when people seem to be so delighted over Bellamy. Seems a little strange to me .... or "interesting" to use the fashionable term.

Bellamy makes more sense to me. Quicker and more versatile. He can play left, right or through the middle. I think the more pace in our side the better.

If he's to come he must accept he'll be on the bench just like he did at Chelsea. Benitez made it clear to him he preferred him changing the game...plus he must accept an average wage.
