Who's the pick of the new boys?

Immense player.  Best bit of business we have done for a while.  And our best left back for a long long time.

Enrique for me, for 5.5m we got ourself a bargain! the other 3 haven't impressed me much, well Adam had a great string of performances but the last two games he has been awful, he justs needs a bit of consistency.

Henderson I'm worried about

Happy with Enrique, Bellamy and Adam, concerned about Henderson and to lesser extent Downing.

If I was marking out of 10, I would give Enrique 8, Bellamy 7 and Adam 7, Henderson 4 and Downing 6 (5 on recent form) 

Enrique has dropped straight in.

Adams has been better than I though he would be.

Im out at the mo on Downing and Henderson.  There have been glimpses with Hendo.
Downing may have had the statistics for FSG  to buy him .... but Arjen Robben or Gareth Bale he is not.

Enrique pick of the bunch by some distance.

Impressed with Coates in his odd appearance here and there.

Bellamy doing a good job too.

Unconvinced with the rest but it's a bit early to judge them really.

It's gotta be Enrique and Bellamy for me. Coates isn't doing to bad either with his handful of games.

The others, haven't been particularly awful but there were glimpses of their abilities and they could be doing much better.

Enrique-9      (Looks like he has been here forever)
Bellers-7       (Looks like he never should have gone in the first place)
Adam-5        (Brought in as a bench player and forced into starting, has done OK but his 10M set-pieces have been non-existent)
Hendo-5       (Once again brought in as the future and forced to start out of position- I think he will be here a long time)
Coates-5      (Looks good to me in limited action)
Downing-4    (I am quite disappointed in him, of all of our new signing he was the one who was supposed to step in and boss)
Doni-?          (Looks tall in team photos)

Would have to give Adam 3rd but at this moment I can't say too many positive things about the rest beside Coates has showed potential in the very small glimpses of him we've had.

Weird when you look at the cost of those four and compare it to the other four who haven't give us much yet.

But trust me once Downing breaks his duck that boy will explode...

If he enternally combusts, that'll be £20 million down the drain!!

Best signing is Enrique. Then Bellamy and Adam. Great deals

Enrique for me has been super solid, wouldn't pick anyone in the prem ahead of him at LB

Enrique, looks like he has been here years.

Like most of yerselves i"d be of the opinion that Enrique is the best of the summer signings, he"s the best LB in the PL by far ,better than Baines better than cliche.

For me:

Enrique = 9/10
Suarez = 7/10
Henderson = 5/10
Downing = 4/10
Adam = 4/10

Enrique has been excellent and a far better defender than I expected.

Bellamy was a great free, maybe he cant play back to back games but what an option he is. Better player than he was when last year and still so hungry to play.

Adam has done ok for me, has improved fitness side of game. Still not sure if he should be such a regular starter but for the money we paid a good addition regardless.

Downing has been biggest negative for me, for an international and expeirenced player he goes missing in games far too much and appears to have a half arsed attitude at times.

Hendo is still finding his feet, no question but think he will be an excellent player for us in years to come.

Can't judge Coates yet but the games he's played I would give him an 8 out of 10 he looks cracking.

See some people rating Suarez in with the new boys, what about big Andy?

I think it's obvious that Enrique is the pick of the bunch, but I really do like the work Henderson does. I think he's a class act who will only get better. Adam is what I expected, a stable midfield performer. Bellers is Bellers, a work horse who works brilliantly with Suarez. Downing, while unlucky, lacks the effort at times for me. If he gets his goal, I think we will get the best from him.

Suarez 8/10 Genius
Bellamy 7/10 Looking good
Coates 7/10 Would be higher if he'd had more game time, looks a beast to me this lad
Adam 5/10 Not deserving the stick he gets, fine squad player asked to more than bought for I believe, at the price not a bad buy
Downing 4/10 Disappointing, questioning his commitment and ability to put in pin point crosses.
Carroll 3/10 Bitterly disappointing, appears to have regressed from his Newcastle days, needs massive improvement
Henderson 3/10 Too concerned with his appearance over thinking about what to do on the pitch, surprised he is still getting game time and not been dropped to the reserves.
