Carolyn Still runs Mansfield Town for two weeks ... then agrees to wed owner

A woman who became the youngest-ever boss of an English football club has got engaged – to the man who gave her the job.
Mansfield Town chief executive Carolyn Still, 29, will marry the chairman John Radford, 45, next year.
Carolyn was given the top job this month in a blaze of publicity.
She and John repeatedly denied being an item and said their friendship had nothing to do with her appointment.
But the Mirror can reveal they were a couple before he made her boss of the Nottinghamshire club.
And John popped the question last week, with the happy couple telling friends and family at the weekend.
A spokesman for the the Blue Square Bet Premier club – one level below the Football League – confirmed the engagement yesterday but said Carolyn did not want to comment.
Asked about their rumoured relationship after landing the job, the former politics student said: “I don’t feel it’s appropriate at this stage to comment.
“This has been a genuine appointment. I have worked hard to get where I am.
“I have known John for a couple of years and in the last year I have worked with him in a consultancy capacity.
“He’s obviously a very busy businessman and the fact I already know him will work in the club’s favour.
“I will be able to call him on the phone and talk over any issues at any point.”
It was claimed last week that Carolyn is a former escort who had dates with male customers while allegedly on the books of two agencies.
She then worked as an account manager for top fashion labels Bulgari and Gucci.
Dismissing the escort reports, John said: “I sat down and talked with her and she said there was no truth in them and that’s it. It is now a legal issue at the moment and has to be dealt with.
“When you appoint someone like Carolyn you are going to get a bit of press as she doesn’t look like your normal chief executive officer at a football club.
“But she is very good at her job. Obviously she was hurt by the stories but she is getting on with the job.”
