I haven't played for a few days but when I did play for only a few games with you guys, I did notice that our team just got the ball wide and threw in cross after cross, after cross.

In FIFA 12 it's quite difficult to get goals from crosses, unlike FIFA 11. In FIFA 11, a huge amount of goals came from wide positions, in FIFA 12, that doesn't seem to be the case.

We're all guilty of going on kamikaze runs when the option is quite clearly to pass.

If the pass doesn't come off, so what, at least you tried. We'll get the ball back and build again.

Good couple of games last night.  Think we ended at about 650th in the UK - not too bad for the first day of the month.

Agreed.  Although ideally to a fellow team-mate.  A few of us were guilty of some shocking giveaways, and towards the end we did start to run in to each other.

The only thing I would add would be if you are playing up front, then stay up front.  Running back in to defence is not only going to wear your stamina out, but there is one less option for us to pass to when we're going forward.

I know it requires discipline, but just keep you're eye on the radar, keep yourself onside and have patience!

Might be worth us trying that near post corner thing that seemed to work well against us last night!

Fair point that.  I play on the left wing, but I don't tend to go for the cross, I'd rather bring it inside and pass or play a through ball.

I had a problem running into people last night, but I finally got my headset sorted.  So, hopefully that will help me with communication.

I'm probably guilty of trying to get the ball out to the wings a little too much.  I agree that passing and spacing are key to success for us.

Thought you did pretty well loi8 in the game I played when you were in the team.

Although we may cross to much we shouldn't completely disregard it.

But yeah when i did play the other day i did notice a few things

Barely anybody passed haha, and Dinch, when we're up front you tended to - even when i made a run - you'd make the exact same run regardless haha, if i'm left striker i play more toward the left side, and you the right + yeah i agree with JD on the staying forward thing too, BUT when i was just chilling up front you barely get the ball so i can see the temptation to charge back a bit

Surely everybody's noticed by now that the teams bveating us aren't playing the killer through-ball -- rather, they're simply passing it through and around us, looking for space - which is how football is supposed to be played.

If you can keep ahold of the ball, great, keep ahold of it and then pass it. Don't run off with it.
