Liverpool have fallen behind Juventus in the race to sign Uruguayan sensation Gaston Ramirez

Ramirez, 21, has been heavily linked with Manchester City and Liverpool in recent months after an outstanding season at Serie A side Bologna. The Uruguay international is expected to leave Bologna this summer following club president Albano Guaraldi's assertion earlier this week that the midfielder is available for a fee of £16m.Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim that representatives from Juventus and AC Milan have engaged in preliminary talks over Ramirez, with Napoli also interested in the playmaker. Liverpool are widely expected to step up their interest in Ramirez after seeing Tottenham steal a march on them in the pursuit of Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson

Now this is the sort of player you want to see us get linked to. Big strong and very skillful. Just the sort of player the club should be looking to bring in if they can make it happen.

Daily express and the Daily Mail are reporting that we've completed the signing for £20 million.

      I hope this is true

Not really seen him play but seems well thought off. Quite expensive but it he is going to bring world class talent, I am happy.

      No not the case...

If you have one post and it's negative then your negative..

If you have 20,000 posts and their negative then your negative..

Anoop is negative in most of his posts... One of those things.. Sometimes people just get fed up of people being constantly negative.

Corbally had thousands of posts but he was still negative.

Is it? Most people have less posts than me, should I only communicate with JD, Cas and Daz?
Nah, more like it's pathetic that someone can come on a forum and do nothing but F***ing moan in every post.

Am sorry...in our college liverpool fans are very rare :(..and almost everyone are scums or chavs fans.

I am showing just the frustration of a liverpool fan when other clubs signing top talents in Europe while we are not able to match the bidding war with spurs :(

      Sorry everyone

No need to be sorry, mate.

You're being honest and open, which is absolutely fine. All we ask for is that you don't take it too far.

And I believe calling someone a "whining little maggot" is completely uncalled for.

Anoop is just a troll. Ignore.

I don't think Ramirez is worth the money he's being quoted for, although he could be someday.

Here's a bit of advice for you, complain when the deal is done, or is not done. We can't have it all our own way. It's best to react after an action takes place than to release your frustration at something that may or may not happen.

The Summer Transfer Window has become a nightmare for Liverpool fans since H&G took over, just the way it is. We'll be linked to tens of players when anyone with a brain knows we'll more than likely sign 3 or 4 players at best. Just the way it is.

      Chill out.

He's simply gutted that we're losing out on Sigurdsson, just the same as I am.

Does that make me a troll, too?

:(.Yea but nothing confirmed officially right?

Honestly i do believe BR will be able to bring success even without any new players if all players stays fit.
We have the best holding mid fielder in the league. Don't know much about the defensive capabilities of suso, but has got great vision and passing range like xabi. If he made joe allen into a mr.precise then am looking forward to see how good suso and hendo are going to flourish in his system.

Maybe, but I'm more than a little tired of seeing every transfer thread filled with people complaining.
