think it's a good game to get coates into the action and carroll a start to build his confidence. can't stand stoke and their violent inbred supporters.

I can see us smashing the potters into shreds this time.

Definitely the most difficult of the 'non top teams' to go to.

Personally I would take any kind of win.  Although after two Premier League draws you have to wonder how much more of an eye on the West Brom away game at the weekend we may have.

If we had beaten Norwich I would have expected a stronger line up here than might be the case.

We've had the performances in previous games and not ground out the win.

In this game I'd take a sh*te performance and a 90th minute mis-hit shot rebounding off the post hitting the keepers backside and rolling over the line.

Really tough game this.

Hard to know how the two recent draws will impact our selection. Still a good chance for silverware. Would like to see Reina-Kelly, Dagger, Coates, Enrique - Spearing, Lucas - Bellamy, Suarez, Maxi - Kuyt

Stoke are playing a lot of games so we have the edge i think. they are a difficult team to beat, but they dont have the depth. Would try coates at the back fto negate the threat from Crouch.Tthink saurez should be rested bring him on as a sub 20 minutes from the end.also About time maxi had a game, and Carroll should be given a game see if he can score goals. Shake things up with team selection due to poor results,perhaps play some young guys. see if they can perform better than the usual favourites.

Stoke at home is never an easy game but i think we will be fine and get a result. We played well in the league game and were unlucky we lost because we had loads of chances to get atleast a draw. Just wished i didnt have to work so i could be at the game 

No f***in about experimenting here. we need a proven formation.

Considering Carroll has been getting virtually no game time, for reasons that are beyond me, I would start him here against Stoke.
Suarez should be rested, Bellamy started, and Maxi given a run because I feel sorry for the lad, after he did so well at the end of last season.

I'm in agreement with this Joey, I would deffo like to see Maxi get a run out and I think Bellamy deserves to be in the team, and I'd love to see Carroll have the game of his life tomorrow night
