Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (PS3 & XBox)

The game will include HD remakes of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and the PSP game Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker, which is supposed to be one of the best in the series.

Sadly, no HD remake for the first Metal Gear Solid. I'm assuming Konami will issue the same excuse as Square Enix are over converting Final Fantasy VII to a modern system - they would have to rebuild it from the ground up, while the PS2 games are closer to the PS3.

Anyway, only £30 pre-order on Play.com.

Sincerely hope there is trophies too. If there's trophies it is likely that I'll play nothing else for a long time.

Heard lots of good things about Peacewalker since this was announced. Tempted to buy it for PSP now but might old off for the HD version and enjoy it more.

Just finished my first run through of Metal Gear Solid 2. Still a fantastic game, though Snake Eater holds it's own against the games of today. Well worth a play. Looking forward to Peace Walker too.

The trophies are fantastic too. The platinum on 2 looks do-able, though 3 looks like hard work.
