Hope Johnson can punish Chelsea ,it is about time he found the net again,I think Carroll will start and put Chelsea under pressure from the kick off.Suarez to terrorise the bastar*s.

I'd play big Andy up top and drop Suarez in behind him. All the Chelsea fans in the pub are very nervous about the game (apparently their defence is currently laughably bad), but I think we'll do well to win and I'd take a point to be totally honest. Our current run of results (too many draws) will actually look OK if we can avoid defeat in our next two as we'll be 11 unbeaten or something. Lose one or both though and while we won't exactly be languishing, we won't be ripping it up either.

If we'll use 4-3-3 and Suarez plays on the right, will he racially abuse Cole?

I wouldn't have thought so, no.

      Feeling quietly confident about this.
Want to win this more for Luis than anything else . He must be feeling really sick of this whole business .
I hope that the lads show their support for him today in whatever way they can.
I have no doubt that our fans will show their support in their own unique way.

      0-2 Suarez with both.

Dont think we should start Bellamy in this one. i think he'd have more of an impact on the match coming on as an impact substitue.

It will be much easier to get in behind their high line when all their defenders are tired.

Not feeling confident about this one at all for some reason, just got that feeling in the stomach. Good thing for us is that Chelsea have lost that defensive stability they had for so long but i'm nervous about torres having his first big game for them.

But to be fair, didn't play much football in June and July

Anyways, all I want is 3 points. I don't care who plays, who the referee is or how we play .. just win the game.

AvB saying we should be challenging for the title after the amount  we spent. If that along with the fact that we're already 15 points behind the leaders are not motivation, I don't know what is.

Going to my mate's to watch the game on sky, he is a utd fan, so hope we can pull off another good performance and come away with 3 points, as we seem to have difficulty winning at home lately. Really need something from the game to get the momentum going again. I hope Suarez shows his international form and bags a couple of goals against a vulnerable Chelsea defence.

      Match Facts
      Head-to-head

Liverpool and Chelsea have met 28 times in various competitions since October 2004. Chelsea have won 12 of those games, and Liverpool nine.
Chelsea have failed to score in five of their last seven Premier League games against Liverpool and three of the last four at Stamford Bridge.
One of the teams has kept a clean sheet in all but one their last 11 encounters in the league.
There have been just nine goals scored in the last eight league meetings between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge.
Kenny Dalglish is unbeaten in all 11 previous matches as Liverpool manager against Chelsea in all competitions - winning eight and drawing three.
      Chelsea

According to Opta's stats, Fernando Torres has scored a goal every 425 minutes for Chelsea compared to every 121 minutes during his time at Liverpool. His shooting accuracy is 38% compared to 49% at Liverpool and his chance conversion rate is just 10% - at Liverpool it was 22%.
Alex has completed 90 minutes in the Premier League just twice this season (v Stoke and Blackburn) and Chelsea have kept their only clean sheets in those games.
Chelsea have picked up more cards than any other team this season: 28 yellow and three reds.
Frank Lampard is the Premier League's top-scoring midfielder with six goals.
      Liverpool

Liverpool have allowed their opponents a total of just 38 shots on target this season, the fewest in the league.
Luis Suarez has had 51 shots in the Premier League this season but has scored only four goals - but he has won a league high of three penalties.
Stewart Downing has had a total of 15 shots in his last four league games without hitting the target once.
The Reds have hit the woodwork more times (10) than any other top-flight team this season. www.bbc.co.uk/sport

Some quite intresting facts for todays game and reading some of the Chelsea forums they are are just wanting to get through this one any way possible  :D most of there fans are concerned about there weak defence and think that Suarez will run rings round it which he will of course  ;D

I love this fact the most "Kenny Dalglish is unbeaten in all 11 previous matches as Liverpool manager against Chelsea in all competitions - winning eight and drawing three."

Lets make it nine today  ;D

In that case, I'll take a 0:1 win from a late, scrappy Dirk Kuyt goal.

It's a game we must win. Same goes for next week.

A loss would put us 6 points behind 4th place and next week, potentially 18 poinds behind the leaders. It's only November!

Two wins would put us back in the Champions League spot.
