The Mrs has a ban on me buying stuff until I get rid of some clutter.

If this sounds like I'm hen pecked, it's probably right.
On the other hand, she's probably right about the clutter. Just counted 6 atomisers, coiling tools, 32 bottles of juice and 3 mods (all for vaping) lying around, plus box sets, CD's, books and magazines strewn everywhere.
My office is not very tidy

Get rid of the sh*te you don't need and buy the box set.

According to my brain I need absolutely everything in there

I'll just have to buy it without her knowing  >:D

One of the best series that will be made around the mafia.

And imo yeah - so many boss performances throughout the whole series.

It's easily my number one TV show HR.

I'm rewatching Breaking Bad at the minute and while it's still great telly it doesn't grip me the way The Sopranos did even now that I'm probably on my 6th or 7th time watching it through.

Right then lads, i'm going to start downloading The Sopranos. If it's better than Game of Thrones then i will bow down to your superior knowledge.

My mate told me to watch 'Bloodline' too. Downloaded it but haven't watched it yet. I have to admit i used to think all the Americans made was that gay programme 'Friends'. What an absolute pile of sh*te, childish girly comedy where you can see the jokes coming over the hill from ten miles away.

Then i watched The Following, The Leftovers, Breaking Bad, Bosch, Banshee and Game of Thrones and i was converted.

I love Friends and I'm not 'gay'.

Must have missed the memo that it was only for homosexuals. ;)

I didn't mean it like that mate. It is just so cheesy and cringe worthy. The jokes are so predictable, i hate it. My missus loves it.

I was trying to find it in decent quality online, but couldn't.

I'd like to see if I like it before buying the box set. Got too much clutter in here already ;D

Oh that old chestnut, the old 'i'll download it first and see if it's worth buying' line. Haven't heard that one before. I believe you Swab  ;)

Got two of these, plus a 240+ carry case for just Star Trek, from two Bookcases, 2 dvd racks and part of my desk down to two and a bit cases.  Alphabetized and a a little time consuming the first time I put all my collection in now I just add as I go, no choice as I really needed the space....for more boxsets.  ;)

      Started Penny Dreadful last night.

Really like the look of it so far.

It's superb Si, first series is good but the 2nd series (which is 4 episodes in) has been superb so far. Some cracking characters in there but Eva Brawn (Miss Ives) absolutely steals it, she is mesmerising. Frankenstein's monster is also an excellent character for me and Josh Hartnett Plays a character who gradually has more and more going on. Along with GOT it's the program I most look forward to at the moment and I know we share pretty similar tastes.

So, I couldn't sleep, so decided to watch some comedy on prime.  After finally choosing Misfits, one of the actresses looked familiar and it started bugging the hell out of me.  Only when I saw her surname did I realise my mistake, but christ Lauren Socha looks like her brother, Michael Socha, better known to me as Tom from Being Human.

Latest episode of Game of Thrones - woah. May be the best episode of the entire series in terms of plot development and those last 20 minutes are just incredible.

Episode is sitting as the best ever on IMDB with 9.9/10 from 8k+ votes, ahead of the red wedding.

Yep, it was fooookin EPIC! They have pretty much abandoned the plot lines in the book, left right and centre but last night was superb. Only thing I would question is the sudden mobility that the army of the dead seem to have found, in every previous episode they have been traditional lumbering zombies but it looked more like 28 days later last night. Still brill though.

Penny Dreadful on Sky Atlantic tonight, thoroughly recommend it.

Still loving The Shield! I'm on the third season and I like how old storylines are revisited and continued.

I've started Daredevil and I like what I see so far. The fight scenes are amazing. One thing I miss is a reminder before each episode begins.

I watched the first episode of Person of Interest and I won't be bothering again; it didn't grab me and since I watched Breaking Bad last year I've become fussy about what I watch now.

If anyone is planning to or has started to watch The Shield on Netflix UK then hurry up because it's only available until June 30th.  ;)

If I watch 2 or 3 episodes a day on average then I'll just make it to the end of the last season.  ;D

I thought when Huyt posted that

      Spoiler alert   :D

To be honest it doesn't tell half the story, half the emotion and actually doesn't give the ending away

Trust me it's not what you think, stick out the rest of it safe in the knowledge that doesn't tell all the story

       :)

It gets far better after season 1

Yeah quite slow the first season but enjoyed it. Can't understand why I didn't remember any of it though cos I remember bits of season 3 like Melfi getting raped.

I've hung back on GOT so I can have a bit of a session on it when the series done so this thread is a bit scary coming into.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver is a mix of comedy, satire & news not seen since Brasseye, the mix if the three is a little different, but it is so well done.
