Watched the first episode of Quarry last night.

Looks like it might be worth sticking with.

Completely forgot about Daredevil, and I quite enjoyed series 1.

Started 2 last night, and hoping I enjoy it was much as 1.

I'm two episodes in to Goliath and I'm hooked. Billy Bob Thornton is a fine actor. He was fantastic in Fargo.

Watching Designated Survivor and I am just thinking it is just stupid. Last episode, the President has 5 minutes with one the guys with evidence while Secret Service take him away. Do, SS take him away before he can say much. Surely, the Pres would be able to say - hey guys, give me another 5 minutes! Stupid or what. The he watches the 'bomb going off animation'. Who does the animation?

Anyway, there are so many stupid plot lines and action taken by major characters, you think - wow. I would not do that but this simple thing and all will be well.

      Rant over.

I've watched it all so far in the hope that it'd improved the further it got into the story line (if you can call it that) but I fully agree with you. One of the most ridiculous programmes on TV. I'd love to know how they managed to build a secret bunker type room in between 2 other rooms in the Capitol Building. It also doesn't make sense that the FBI boss would kill that terrorist figure as he would have been on CCTV with the other FBI agent and they were both out of the room when he was killed.

How is nobody suspicious of the one guy that survived when everybody else died? As if nobody questioned him about it all. They've tried to create a mystery about who in the White House is working for the other side but it's just piss poor writing.

New series of The Walking Dead has been pretty woeful if I'm honest.

Very average. Bar a couple of episodes it was all just filling time and unrealistic. As if they wouldn't have stashed weapons for example.

Black Mirror has been the latest show that I've been enjoying immensely. Watched the whole thing during holidays and it's not getting out of my mind anytime soon. Thought provoking stuff.

Anyone watched the latest Sherlock episode? I was quite disappointed to be honest. I mean, it wasn't bad (it never is) and I'll definitely continue watching anyway, but for me it has become a bit too exaggerated, lost its original vibe that was centered on Sherlock solving cases that were somewhat more ordinary, instead of everything being part of a huge conspiracy that dramatically changes everything each episode. I don't know how to explain. But I think it'll never be as good as the first season was.

Yea I wasn't too impressed either, but hoping it's building to something more in the next episode.

      Anyone here watch Westworld?

Watched episode 1 of 'The OA' last night on netflix. Thought it was good, though there was a scene at the end of it that was a bit far fetched (even given what went before) but was decent enough overall that I'll watch episode 2 and see where it goes...

Started watching it this week, enjoying so far, but I have a feeling that it drags itself a bit too much. I might be wrong but I end up feeling like large parts of the episodes are not really that relevant and are there just to extend the series. The premise is very interesting though and the initial episodes definitely got my attention, great potential!

That's why sometimes I prefer the mini-series format that is common in British tv (like River, Luther, Sherlock, etc), with less episodes but far more meaningful ones. Everything has pros and cons though, and sometimes I also wish they would make 20-episodes seasons of Sherlock haha

I with you on liking The Wire more though I'm only 4 seasons into The Sopranos and I found season 3 to be bordering on parody at times. Having said that, neither touch Boston Legal for me, though I'm well aware it wouldn't be everybody's cup of tea.
