The TV Series Discussion Thread

I completely missed The Night Manager on tv last year so took the opportunity to watch it as it's been added to Amazon Prime. Really enjoyed it and I thought Hugh Laurie played his part particularly well as did Tom Hollander. In fact, good performances all round and a solid narrative.
 
Watching Designated Survivor, Billions and Better Call Saul week to week plus halfway through Homeland, also enjoying the second series of Hand of God on Amazon and re-watching House of Cards in preparation for the new series. For light relief from drama, I'm watching Girlboss on Netflix and I have to say I like it so far although I'm only three episodes in.

Where do you get time to watch so much TV? I normally get to watch few hours a week.

Finished the 3rd in just a couple of days. Absolutely fantastic. Wow. The writing in this show is just out of this world!

Just watched the first episode of series 4 of Line of Duty and must say although not bad, I thought it was much worse than usual. Hope the season will pick it up in the next episode.

I haven't made my mind up on how good Series 4 was but it definitely picks up pace.

Where do you get time to watch so much TV? I normally get to watch few hours a week.

I don't have a wife and kids taking up my time and I have a fair bit of available time to watch shows.

I watched the first couple of episodes last night, and I have to say it has me quite intrigued.

Started watching the first episode of season 5 the other day. Couldn't get into it again.

I think it's ran its course myself. 5 seasons already and I think there's another in the pipeline. That's a long time for a political drama revolving around such a small lead cast.

Love the scenes with Frank and the Russian though.

Started The Leftovers last night. Couldn't get into that either so I'm just waiting for Game of Thrones now.

Just finished Season 2 and 3 of Bloodline and while I enjoyed it these two don't live up to the fantastic first season and it's one of those series that could have been left as a standalone single season

Yeah, he's brilliant isn't he. Love it when he breaks the fourth wall and speaks to the viewer. The scenes with the Russian are boss as well.

Finally got round to binge watching Peaky Blinders.
Great stuff apart from very ropey accents.

Just over two and a half hours to go until the new Game of Thrones season starts. Expecting big things.

You will love Power mate, trust me.

Not too sure about Gypsy but can't seem to stop watching it. It's like you are waiting for this Leso scene to happen that teases and  teases but doesn't eventuate. Having said that I am half way through the last episode of the Season, hope I get to see some fleshy bits.
