Good game which we should have won by a few goals.

Lucas played brilliantly.

Priceless but different style player so cant compare!

Surely a useless style of play can compare to a motivated, inspired type of player so the comparison is quite valid.

I think after today, we are going to start sinking the 'lower' teams like we should have been doing from the beginning.

How frustrating was that? Gutted as we could have had them today, great to see everyone gelling well too.  My motm would be Enrique, he caused them lots of hastle and was a genuine threat most of the game, he has been really impressive in the last few games.

The only player that can rival Lucas for man of the match is Hart, kept City in the game

^^This, Hart saved them today.  Lucas was immense, my MOTM.

This was one of our F***ing best performances to date. That's the way we should play week in week out. 

Would've been  priceless if Carroll's attempt went in. F***ing opposition goalkeepers get pumped up when they visit Anfield.

More later but just a thought for those who's frustration leads them to slate our players: how sh*t and ineffective were Aguero and Silva? Their best player was the F***ing goal-keeper.

MoTM, for me - Agger - who just shades it over a few others.

Guess we could have make do with Maxi but we couldn't have played Bellamy anyway.

I know Adryan just think in different circumstances those two could have made the difference.

I see Downing got a vote in MOTM.

Gotta be honest and say I'm disappointed that we didn't win that. Joe Hart is a freaking beast of a keeper. But at least we got something out of it.

From the look of it, we need a world class midfielder. Henderson is not the answer. Downing's shooting ability is pathetic. KD must give him some useful leasons on how to shoot properly.

Honestly think we were a creative spark away from winning that, not enough chances created until the last 15 minutes. Would have loved a bit more support for Suarez too, he was looking dangerous everytime he turned their defence.

A lot to work on but it's getting there. Just need a couple more quality, creative players in the side.

I thought Downing improved in the second half, I loved when Toure tried to bull doze his way through the midfield and was just picked off by Lucas

Not much to say.

City field players desserved to lose after their very bad second half but Hart saved them.

Liverpool was rather good but nothing exceptionnal. A few worrying errors in defence, a few but not enough good attacks...

Gave motm to Downing (not that he really desserved it but found he really improved compared to the last games he played).

Disappointed and proud at the same time. Unlucky not to win this today.

Need to get Gerrard healthy.  He plays over Hendo and we win 3-1.
I think that final delivery is what were missing.

This. The team played great today, especially in the second half, but Hart was simply superb.

We played great towards the latter stages of the match, and we deserved the win. Hart was immense, and they defended very well.

F***ing Internet cut off at half time so downloaded an international radio app on my phone to listen to the second half on bbc.

Edge of yOur seat stuff and could of won. Was nervous as F**k in the last 10 but my god in proud. We didn't get the win we deserved but that was a performance of champions.

Agree about Downing. He started to run at Richards more, put in some nice crosses and tried to link up with Suarez. Not a good performance but not that bad.

Deserved to win the that. Yet again a visiting keeper has a stormer and keeps his team in it.
