Look the curse returns a weak team and we cant even get a draw pathectic, we need a goalscorer. Saurez has lost confidence and Carrol is not epl quality.

He wasn't careless, he wasn't reckless and it was hardly dangerous.

He won the ball, you can't full stop when in a tackle. At worst, if it was dangerous it was a yellow. I would of been mad, but not furious if that was the case.

It was a horrible decision on the refs part. Absolutely shocking.

It wasn't even a challenge, he cleared the ball and his standing leg slipped.

The point is Red5man, he should never have attempted 'that type of tackle' in the first place. As soon as he went in, he left the ref no choice.

Not Pepe's finest game too. The goal wasn't the first time he didn't catch the ball. Kept parrying it away the whole game. Cost us in the end.

Ridiculous red and an onside goal disallowed stopped us from winning this one

Yes. That and the fact that we never played with any pace from the first whistle.

We didn't deserve to lose but we sure-as-sh*t didn't deserve to win.

Premier League physical league my arse, these refs have basically banned the slide tackle.

F***ing ridiculous, now we have no holding midfielder for three F***ing games.

So F***ing annoyed right now it's untrue, F***ing sh*te that was. Since beating Chelsea they take six points we take F***ing one.

whereas Man Ure and Citeh will play poorly, have one shot and win 1-0, we are a still being very wasteful in the final third.

      Agree totally.

Never mind the woodwork, we had another couple of good chances, notably one for Carroll, which he could have placed anywhere but drove it straight at the keeper.

It wasn't a tackle, he cleared the ball and his foot slipped. The momentum caused him to land on Demebele's ankle.

We're in a spot of bother now. Slowly sliding off the pace.

We're way too measured, safe and predictable with our passing. Where is the instinctiveness?

It looks as though we're following a copy book. You will never win a Premiership like that. Hell, 4th spot will be ferociously fought over, and we don't look solid or hungry enough for that spot.

I F***ing said it. Murphy will try and turn onto his right foot. It was F***ing obvious. Johnson as ever shot at defending. Reina made some good saves but they count for nothing with that howler. Diabolical!

Will someone explain to me how Maxi with 2 goals in recent games and a hat trick at Fulham last season gets no playing time ? Then you have that F***ing post again stopping us and referees and assistants.

Suarez onside for me and Spearing wind the F***ing ball. We get no F***ing luck !

      Rant over!

I think regardless if he got the ball or not, it was dangerous play to a certain extent. Come on now, we'd be crying out loud for a red card if it was a United player.

How costly that part where Adam decide to dilly dally with the ball instead of giving it to Bellamy who would have probably scored.

We gave Dempsey and Murphy too much space in midfield, especially in front of our box.

Brilliant going forward. Not so good defensively at times. Again lacking a finish, how many chances do we need? A prolific striker in January please.

To the red card. F**k me. Got the ball and yes, he followed through a bit, BUT, his eyes were on the ball, no intent, and Dembele came on straight after he went off. I agree we should clamp down on reckless and dangerous tackles, but for me that wasn't one. Referee's need a bit of common sense with their red cards.

Still could of won it after the card, but it was an uphill struggle from there to be honest. Very much 3 points dropped tonight, should have sealed it well before that red card.

He won the F***ing ball!! Why shouldn't he of gone for it? You can't pull out of a tackle after you win the ball!!

just wodering, When are we going to put away games against the lower sides of the league , played well and created chances till the send off, but very poor finish (apart from the posts ones) you always axpect to concede a scrappy goal like tonight.
we have to fix this till xmas

How else is he expect to make a challenge in that situation? You can't tackle and not follow through. Unless you're Raul Meireles.

      Rubbish referring decision again.

      My take:

The Charlie Adam infringement was a penalty
The Suarez infringement was a penalty.
That was not a red card against Spearing; a yellow card at best.

      That said:

If we can't finish off teams like Fulham, we have some tough times coming outside the top six. Pissed!
