Never fully appreciate what you've got til it's gone. Too much of a gap between midfield and defense allowing Ruiz, Dembele and Clint F***ing Eastwood to run free.

      We miss Lucas.

With no Spearing time to bring Coady up?

I think regardless if he got the ball or not, it was dangerous play to a certain extent. Come on now, we'd be crying out loud for a red card if it was a United player.

How costly that part where Adam decide to dilly dally with the ball instead of giving it to Bellamy who would have probably scored.

We gave Dempsey and Murphy too much space in midfield, especially in front of our box.

No I wouldn't. No way in Hell was that even close to a red.

I'm not going to blame the team at all. I thought we were very good. The ref cost us today and I'm embarassed for him.

It wasn't a sending off by any means. He got the ball first. Did people just expect him to go deadstop once he got the ball? He hit the player on the follow through, yellow at the max.

We really need someone to finish off the chances, don't we? Created a lot of them but couldn't put the ball in.

Dissapointed but not surprised im to used to this sh*t. Spearing never a red but what was he at flyin in a foot of the ground and followin through no need silly silly tackle. Also i no hes loved but hes not good enough spearing hes never gonna fill lucas boots and tbh unless gerrard gets fit we dont hav a player that will. Top four?? Cant see it we havent got that killer touch in the final third although playing nice football.

I'm not going to blame the Ref for the loss...Thats something Ferguson does.  We lost because we were flat, we missed chances, hit the bar a few times and that was it.

It wasnt our night, we played like sh*t w/ 11 and w/10.

Dempsey should have been sent off long ago for clashing heads with Bellamy deliberately.

      F***ing c**t.

I don't like getting at ref's too much, but the FA need to have a serious look at Friend's refereeing license. He was shocking throughout.

If anyone thinks that's a sending off, they're a bloody moron. What a load of bollocks.

Just to qualify this; Dempsey could have gone, Senderos should have gone for two yellows (the second being the deliberate pull back on Carroll off the ball) and we end up with Spearing off for a perfectly timed, strong tackle.

      Lynch mob for Friend anyone...

I'm going to have to agree with that.

I think Fulham scrapped it overall but it defo would have been a different story had Jordan scored or Adam freaking passed the ball to Bellamy.

FFS, disallowed goal that should've stood, a red card that never should've been, dominating the game and we still F***ing lose.

I need an asprin or something really F***ing strong, cause I feel sick to the stomach.

It wasn't a tackle, he cleared the ball and his foot slipped. The momentum caused him to land on Demebele's ankle.
I know what you're saying, it may not have been an actual tackle, but it still ended up a two footed mis-timed clearance come tackle.

F**k me if that is a sending off it is no longer the game I love. F**k why dont we ban tackles all together, or better still ban all contact. One of the worst ref decision Ive seen in a long time.

Townsend just showed it again and said look not one Fulham player reacted to it, Murphy turned his back on it and he was two yards away. F**k me as well we really need a goalscorer to take the chances

13 is the number of time we've hit the bar so far (if I've not forgoten one or two).

Hope Liverpool won't become unlucky because of that. ;)

Mis-timed but he was the one who won the ball.

      I'm learning, I guess.

He won the F***ing ball!! Why shouldn't he of gone for it? You can't pull out of a tackle after you win the ball!!
I didn't say he shouldn't have gone for it. I said he shouldn't have gone for it like he did.

Playing wise we weren't up to our usual-selves but not too bad. Missed Lucas in the middle of the park to fill the gap between defence and midfield, then there's upfront. In January we HAVE to sign a winger and a striker if we're going to be anywhere near 4th place, it's just not happening for us upfront yet but if we can pull in a goalscorer and an out and out winger it should click into place.

As for our luck? F*cking non existent. Hit the post twice, once coming from a great save from their keeper and another good save from him, scored a perfectly good goal that was apparently offside and Jay's tackle was debatable as to whether it was a sending off. In all honesty, if that were Murphy on Charlie Adam I'd have said a booking would have been a fair punishment, but since he won the ball for me it was never a sending off.

Just need to crack on with the next games and see how they go.

I thought we wereen't to bad but how much was Lucas missed, everything they had came through the middle, we need Stevie G back  as soon as possible with Spearo out now, 3 x games I tink as it was a straight red, in my opinion Carroll is not worth his place at the moment, did Henderson play the second half???? still didn't deserve to lose, ref gave us nothing all game and the sending off was a joke, Dempsey should have been sent off for putting the head into Craig Bellamy face,  will be very interesting to see what Kenny has to say,  I think we need to get a siege mentality and we gotta start winning our home games

It wasn't a red card. But what annoyed me most was he didn't have to go in for it. He could have just calmy passed it away, instead he flew into it and gave the ball away down field.

It was a nonsense decision from the ref and from him.
