I'd take 30  of those a season.  Thought Skrtel was immense.

No Downing completely disappeared all of the other players did something decent. I'd be surprised if Downing touched the ball second half.

Adam was good up to the 70th minute then he disappeared when we needed someone in midfield to put there foot on the ball

My point to Diego was leave Charlie Adam out of the it. Makes no sense to bring him up.

Sorry for bringing him up but it's just that people see what they want to see, Adam is better than Hendo defensively but one is criticized for any player that gets past him while it was the first time I saw someone complain about this part of Hendo's game. Downing is 27 but "he'll improve", Adam is 25 so "he should be in his prime". Oh well, just the old boring Adam debate. I actually think Adam and Hendo were decent today together given we had no defensive midfielder there.

As for the game today... players like Kuyt and Maxi are two players with exceptional movement and overall game intelligence, but what we're really lacking in attack is some additional quality. That killer touch, sublime finishing, unexpected dribbling. At the moment the only player I come to expect something like that is Suarez, but even him can be very very frustrating at times.

Couldn't go all day without hitting the woodwork! :P

One of Maxi's actually got tipped on to the post by the keeper.

I'm guessing Maxi won't be sending that lad a Christmas card this year.

Dont want to appear negitive but QPR were p*ss poor

In fairness all of the teams outside the top seven aren't much chop, there's bugger all between any of em. We really ought to be looking to win Home and Away against the likes of these, and although we weren't THAT convincing at least we got the points.

Adam must srely be approaching the point where his more extreme critics earlier in the season might have to accept that perhaps they were wrong?

Havent seen Mac Red for a while, so I would suggest your not far wrong Mick.

      Deserved to win, and did.
Still making bucket loads of chances which is good.
Be nice to save the nails if we could just put 1 or 2 more of em away.
Charlie Adam my MOTM (just about), playing well and keeping his hecklers quiet for now.
      3 points in the bag.

A deserved 3 points, great win, great first half performance, second half performance was ok, but at least we held the lead. Think we need to have one game where we take at least 3/5 chances, so the confidence of the team grows. Suarez did well, Maxi got into some great positions and Adam controlled the center of the park well.

Whole team did really, no point singling out an individual for a team problem.

Disagree. We put in a good shift in the second half. QPR only came on to us in the last ten minutes or so.

We made them look poor for 70 minutes mate.

Our composure on the ball was fantastic for the first 70 minutes, they couldn't get it off us and we played some cracking stuff. Think we tired abit in the middle after that mark which subsequently left more space which they exploited for a nervy last 15.

Got to admit I had lost my patience with him last season when he was very very poor but this season he's been one of our best players, brilliant again today, his partnership with Agger is developing so well

I'd say it was more from the 70th minute on, they showed a stat around the 77th minute which showed QPR had 88% possession in the previous 5 minutes. Was large gaps starting to appear in the midfield from the 70th minute on, no one was really showing for forcing Reina long on a number of occasions and conceeding possession

I thought Henderson had a decent game, when the pressure was on towards the end he did rush his passing a tad and lost it.

But I was quite impressed by Adam and Henderson, both played well but tried to remain responsible.
