You should have always loved Lucas, hated the spell of abuse he went through a few years back, glad he's left a lot of people red faced. For me...

Was hard to decide as I love every player we have but my top 5 is....

Nothing against the younger members of this forum i would suggest you all do your homework if you think that list compiles the best of lfc , unless you mean your time following the reds , and not your all time top 5 , if you do mean your all time top 5 .then there is only one on that list who has a cat in hells chance of making it,  and that will take quite a few years and a lot more credits to his name.

None taken & this list is for my players of the season ATM. No Gerrard as he's not fully fit! These players don't compare to the likes of the old!! Sorry for any misunderstanding.

Well its kind of tough to select your top 5 players from the current squad because we love them all and depending on form it would keep on changing. Anyways, 5 players who wold always make the list would be

well i'm going to take this as a top five this season.. it is very difficult..

shortlist Enrique - Reina - Agger - Skrtel - Lucas - Suarez - Bellamy - Adam - Kuyt

5. Agger - the Dane is one of the very best centre backs in the world and we are a better unit when he is fit. his partnership with Skrtel will only solidify as the season goes on provided they stay fit and sharp. not forgetting the full backs mind.

4. Lucas - was pivotal to our play as he warmed up next to Adam and kept our midfield ticking. he wont get a chance to move up this ranking but the sooner he is back in the middle the better we will be.

3. Skrtel - the man is entering his best years and who better to play under than Kenny Dalglish at Liverpool? keeps improving and scoring which is what we need from the Slovak. some wanted to 'ship him off' but I think it is a blessing he is here.

2. Enrique - you can't imagine anyone else slotting in quite like the Spaniard has, hopefully he and Pepe are mates as they along with our reliable centre backs and Glen Johnson all complete a rock solid defense together. he plays like Dirk Kuyt in that he looks like he has been here for years, he wants to work hard the whole game, he is a smart player.

1. Suarez - the magic man from Uruguay (I am unintentionally mentioning where they are from) decides how the game plays out, he is always influencing play whether he is on song or not. he is a man we must keep and build around!
