Realise you can't win them all
      And remember that without Liverpool
I would F**k football off altogether.

I'm either silent for days after a loss thats tough to take - like the Stoke loss.

Or just very, very angry and feel like slashing my wrists and sacrificing a goat.

I just try to forget about the game and look forward to the next one.

No matter how much I love Liverpool FC, I try not to get their results affect my daily life.

Yes no freinds in Canada who are fans, but do talk to my brother in UK on yahoo on webcam about soccer in the uk. Frustated as we have so many stats which are positive best defensive team but lack of goals is the big issue. Now taking penalties is hurting us. Adam done so well at blackpool taking penalties. Seems opposition keepers usually play blinders against us.

Unfortunately I started watching Liverpool's games regularly in the 2009/10 season. We were doing badly, and I was laughed at as a loser wherever I went to. I got used to the meant feeling and stopped being so optimistic. This is my third season following Liverpool game-by-game and the only consolation I get is that we're creating better chances and have better owners and manager. I was 17 when we won the CL and it was my first or second year supporting Liverpool, oh how much I miss those days :(

A sense of perspective is required I know, in terms of where we are now H&G, Woy, Poulsen, Northampton at home.....

in contrast to the above we should be happy, It's just a bloody struggle after a game - appreciate the comments...off to see my therapist at the Fir Tree Inn

I get annoyed for about 2 hours following the game - then calm down and reflect.

I'm a lot better than I used to be although after the Fulham game I was seething because of the way we lost. When I was younger i got really upset because it didn't happen that often. The most extreme reaction was when we lost in the FA cup a few years ago to a Graham Poll inspired united at OT in injury time. I briefly refused to eat my roast dinner.

      I absolutely hate it.

I was going out Wednesday night and was in great form drinking with the lads fully expecting 3 points. That night out I was the most depressing person to be around thinking I'd be the same Christmas Day and not any happier until we hopefully beat Blackburn.

Even if we do, I get quite negative. I'm like yeah we won but we have seven points from nine and it should be nine. I'm a glass half empty person a lot!

Usually write some big rant on Facebook about how we will "win again". Usually get angry and I am the worst person to live around when we lose. Get angry easily and flatmates take the piss out of me.

I'm in an awful mood for the rest of the day usually!

Eventually put some perspective on it the next day and get ready for the next match.

I analyse everything. It makes me a bore to be around. Sometimes ruins my weekend.

My girlfriend says "its just a game" but it isn't, its a passion.

I remember the first time I actually felt sick after we lost, FA Cup at OT when we conceded 2 late an lost. I cried then and I was 10.

Before that day I could watch us and regardless of the result find some comfort in a nice glass of TAB Clear and a bar of chocolate.

Unfortunately the TAB is now Budweiser and the chocolate is porn....

I tend to get a bit grumpy - my wife always knows when we have lost.  Never understood how the disappointment of a bad result tends to last longer than the effects of a good one.

Quality, I remember that FA Cup tie as well. But the worst was for me ever was Coventry City at hom in 96/97 6th April, I remember it so vividly from the Kemlyn (think it was still called the Kemlyn then) 1-0 through fowler and closing in on going top in April....then F***ing Dion Dublin muscles his way in, David James had his usual nightmate and it was all over....
