For me tonight's match is as big as any away match we've had in the last few years. It's up there in importance with the Nou Camp in 2007, Bernabeu and Old Trafford in 2009 and Stadio Del Alpi in 2005. Why? Because we can really make a firm statement of our ambition tonight and which could have a massive positive effect for the remainder of the season. Come on people! Let's do this!!

Maybe he'd picked up a slight injury or something so we decided to start the ban earlier.

Nah, I have just checked, and he is returning for the game at the Old Toilet, if he starts to serve his ban tonight.

I always thought we had more time. The timing of the release of this statement and the decision itself is very weird I think. I think it was JD who said we thought if we were not appealing that the Oldham game would be the first game. That seemed the most logical.
