      Sign him up .

Would prefer Cavani but I'm realistic. That probably won't ever happen.

Guarantee you Soldado will do better in England than Cavani ever will and for half the price.

Great player has it all. Lots of Valencia fans are calling him there next champion and they are sick of us english club. They can blame those two big money blues.

Don't see what Valencia would do with Dirk.

Same as we do, let go of his collar and shout, "Go on boy, get the ball.... go on boy.... good boy!"

      Brilliant.

As far as Soldado goes I haven't seen a great deal of him but from what I have seen be looks a very good player who scores plenty of goals.

      Liverpool: potential January transfer target

      Simon Rice
      Friday 06 January 2012

In the strike department, one of the players most consistently linked with Liverpool is Roberto Soldado of Valencia. Something of a journeyman in La Liga, and at one time of Real Madrid, the 26-year-old has been in sparkling form for his current club with 11 goals in the league this term. Liverpool have noticed as they've reportedly sent scouts to watch him on a handful of occassions. Valencia value Soldado at £20m, which might be a bit steep.

"Valencia value Soldado at £20m, which might be a bit steep". A BIT STEEP, if Simon Rice has actually seen Soldado play, I think he would rephrase that comment, particularly, when we are being linked with a £30 million offer for Bent. £20 million is very reasonable indeed.

20 mill is a fair price i reckon defo a better bet than Bent.
Hope he is not coming for 30 mill that would be madness.

Would love him here, seems a great finisher.. Again though on Revista last night Guileme Balague said that there has been no approach from anyone regarding Soldado
