David Texeira (FC Groningen)

I've never heard of him (no surprise there) but from the clips I'm very impressed. He does what strikers who are looking to score heavily must do, he gets himself open in the box. The second goal where he puts the breaks on and stands still, waiting for the ball is the one. "Natural goalscorer"? This fella is one. No idea what the standard is in the league he plays in, can't be bothered to Wiki him/them/it to appear more knowledgeable, but based on that clip I'd say he'll score goals wherever he plays.

My guess would be, if we'd sign him, he wouldn't start performing untill 2013/2014 season or later. And he isn't really a versatile forward who can play on the wing too or anything untill then.

 Just checked on his record this season. 9 starts, one sub appearance, 7 league goals in Holland for a mid table team. Looks like a decent player to me, I think he's well worth a look.

He's not a small boy.. Doesn't look like he'll need much "warming in".. Sh*t.. Youtube does wonders for players but he deffo has a bit of strength and he looks quite clinical.. Hope there's something in this..
