Many many years ago (candy sponsor era) I was invited with my dad to see liverpool. I had the privilage of sitting at her table for dinner, after we had eaten she walked me down to the changing rooms so I could get a few autographs. On the way a security guy stopped me (a little 7 year old skamp) and asked what I was doing, she grabbed me by the hand and simply said - 'its ok, the lad is with me'. No problems, the guard just nodded and let us past..! I am not sure how many people would have done that for a young lad, from what I remeber she was lovely. Even enjoyed my stories about school and what not...

She was a truly wonderful person - I would not go as far as to say we were mates, or that she would even remeber me. I guess that's the mark of a great person.

RIP Jessie

Rest in peace Mrs Paisley. A very sad day for the football club.
