Have a ticket for this but unfortunately due to the rather bewildering Kick off time will be at work.

Hope we put on a good show.

Hard to guess a lineup on Monday for a Sunday game, but here's my guess:

      Reina
      Kelly    Carragher    Coates    Aurelio
      Spearing
      Shelvey   Adam
      Kuyt         Carroll         Maxi

I'd be surprised to see Suarez start in all honesty. He did let Kenny down, I feel. Let's keep Gerrard and Agger rested. I don't think this ^ is that weak of a lineup. Should be good enough to win, bar the possible unpredictability of Carra+Coates+Aurelio. But Spearing should be able to help out with that.

Btw, will the Kop salute Gus Poyet at all? I think the man deserves it.

Wouldn't be pleased to see Downing playing, He hardly deserved it does he?

As you can see there is mostly our second team (or third). I think he needs more games like this to get confidence back. Would rest Bellamy for Wembley anyway  ;)

Dont know if having a week until this game is a good or bad thing? Just glad its at home, perfect way to show Kenny and the lads (as always) we are 100% behind them.

We should play our strongest team, Bellamy in for Downing and maybe Adam for Henderson.

Gus Poyet should get a decent welcome too.

As I see it mate, its a privilege to play for LFC and at the moment he doesn't deserve it, if you aren't putting in commitment players should be dropped. Would prefer seeing Suso there or whoever if they are going to fight and try.

Got me ticket for this one and the sooner we can get another game out of the way and hopefully put all the bullsh*t to be dthe better. Expecting to see a mostly first choice team but wodner if we might see a couple of fringe players get a run out as well.

Straight forward win by 2 or 3 goals, with a decent performance, would like to see Bellamy and Carroll get a slice of the action up front, with Suarez at some stage. Seem to have a settled defensive line up at least, just a week before our Wembley appearance against Cardiff.

Play the first team. It's the only game before the cup final, and the boys should be well rested. Batter them and get the confidence up.

No disrespect to Brighton but I hope we thrash them,we need a good win to settle things down at Anfield. Also a good win will put the lads in the right frame of mind for Wembley.I am going for a 4 or 5 nil win to us and that will excite Ferguson when Manure play their cup-tie,oh I forgot they got knocked out didn't they.

We shouldn't underestimate Brighton, they haven't lost heavily to anyone this year. Luckily KK has taken the cups seriously this season and should start a strong team.

I would think it would be better to go and collect. Too much of a risk to even think of waiting for it to be delivered!

F**k its gonna be nice getting back to a match after the F***ing crap after the last game. Not much better than a matchup against Brighton for the F***ing sh*t of the last weekend to be forgotton. Not putting them down, but they are of course a team we should get by comfortably on paper. But, the game aint played on paper so we still gotta do the business.

Hoping to see both Carroll and Suarez start. Both getting goals would do good for both of them, for different reasons. Carroll just plain needs goals, Suarez needs to score regularly for the press to shut the F**k up about selling and him or owners being disillusioned. Goals and good form would shut them up.

Be nice to see some youngsters in the mix as well. Love to see Shelvey get a run.
