Today was indeed a good day.

Massive game. Arsenal last year showed how important the cup final is. After losing the match, they went on a massive winless streak. Really feel if we win this, the confidence will rocket.

Yeah, there are definite shades of 2001 this season. The lads did it then and they can do it again, minus UEFA cup of course.

Any so called fans who said they were not interested in winning this simply dont understand Liverpool Football Club.

Ok, it might be bottom of the domestic priorities at the start of a season but its a major final and a chance for the majority of our lads to get a winners medal for the first time. It's what our club has been all about for decades and success breeds success. If we can win on Sunday this could be the first step to further glory for Kenny's developing squad.

I've seen us in finals before but never at Wembley and no one is going to spoil this week for me by trying to play down the importance of this game for our club.

My plans are made and the cup final week starts today and I cant wait to get there and sing my heart out!

Hi, Does anyone know of the pre match place/bars liverpool fans are going to before the Carling Cup Final? Have heard rumours of Trafalger Square?
Were heading up Sunday morning for about 10.30am.

All I could think about today was that this weekend we are back in a cup final. It's great getting the nerves a week before and being able to think of nothing else, all the build up, I F***ing love it.

I'm 100% confident that we will win this, Stevie and Kenny simply will not allow any other result.

Can't wait! Been far too long since we were in a final and it's about time we got to Wembley!
