I think that whoever starts on Saturday, Minus Stevie and Dagger, After Arsenals result against the spuds they'll be full of confidence, and with a weakened side after our pretty poor performance against Cardiff, (despite the eventual win) we will do well to get a result, even though I voted for a win. Just hope Hendo doesn't start as he is too weak physically and mentally for this game. Kutt needs to be right mid as he is chomping at the bit and has put in twogood performancs for us and Holland. Spearing in for Stevie as we don't have much option but we will really have to be on top form for this. Another Wembley esque performance and we will get burried. Still think 2 - 1 us if we get a top performancde fom our players.

Barely recovered from the final and here we go again!

Pretty confident on a result if we are solid at the back. Can see us causing Arsenal a lot of problems, it's just a matter of being strong enough at the back to make sure they aren't in the game.

Talking to a mate today who is a gooner and he was saying Vermahlen is a doubt, played full 90 in the week with a knock, Wenger not happy.

That would be very good if he is out, weaken them even more at the back.

Pity Dagger is out, him and Skyrtel have had a good thing going. Carra looks a bit awkward to me now in comparison and his lack of first team footy can't help his sharpness. Wonder if KK might go with Coates. Doubt it, though IMO its a toss up, Carra is experienced but Coates might just be ready to step in ahead of him. RVP will start unless wheelchair bound so expect Skyrtel will be grabbin his shirt and annoying the hell out of him from early on.
Suarez had an off day at Wemberly but imagine he'll start. Carroll too. So Kuyt on bench again probably. If Andy can't get in about the Arsenal centrebacks he can turn the lights off on his way out. Looks like Vermalen won't make it. We might be missing Agger but they're ropier at the back than us. Mertlesacker turns like an oil tanker.
But am always wary of Arsenal. On a good day they can be excellent and I really like the way they try to play. But if you put you're strong and put it up to them, close em down etc. (the usual stuff against the Arse) no reason not to get 3 points.
Am looking for Andy to have a big game, good chance for him to rattle a couple of CB's. And surely it's gotta come together for him one of these days. A header like the one at home against Shitty would be magic.
HUGE game. 3 points an ABSOLUTE MUST if we have CL notions. Looking forward to a great atmosphere and a big performance.

I am looking forward to the game. Will be nice for those who didn't get going to Wembley to congratulate the lads. We have to get on top of Arsenal though. We give them time on the ball and they will punish us.

If Vermaelen and Van Persie can't play the full 90 minutes then we have an advantage over them, whether Gerrard is fit or not.

Both teams have split personality, what team will show up for arsenal the one what thrashed spurs  or the one who lose to bottom feeders. Because of international injuries, both teams wont be at full strenght. So this has draw written all over it. Liverpool cant convert good chances it seems, But if van persie is out then we have the edge here,we need the 3 points to move up the table 2-1 to the reds. Thats my prediction.

                                           Reina

      Johnson             Skrtel              Carragher           Enrique

                                          Spearing

                     Henderson                       Adam

                                        Bellamy

                        Suarez

                                               Carroll

Would have Gerrard playing instead of Henderson but if not that team for me would great. 2-1 I think, goals from Bellamy & Carroll.

Apparently, RVP has only played once at Anfield for Arsenal. Let's hope that is still the case after the game tomorrow.

      I'm going for a 2-1 home win.  :)

Off to bed as its an early start tomorrow morning, really looking forward to this game, think it will be a cracker, I've gone a close 2-1 to us, pumped ready for action !!

We won't half miss Stevie and Dan tomorrow, good squad though and we've already managed without several first team members for large periods of this season.

Come on you mighty REDMEN, show the gooners how its done !!

I'm always really nervous playing against The Gooners.

They have the ability on their day to rip teams to shreds and I always feel sick that they are going to do it to us.

Let's hope that's not the case and we are at the top of our game, hoping to keep Walcott and RVP quiet and Luis starts to get back that dynamic form that's been missing the last few weeks. Got to watch out for thier intricate passing in and around the box, make sure no stupid fouls are given away and try to keep the ball away for RVP's left peg.

Come on you lads, let's rip into this lot and make it a real 6 pointer of a game. 2-1 to us. Bellamy and Suarez with the goals.

Lovin' the early KO time.  :)

I gotta work today and am gutted because i was convinced this game was on Sunday :-( Quite  abig one this with both teams really needing a win in the race for 4th and a loss would really put us in the shi.....t. Big big blow if Stevie can't play because he has been excellent recently (except for his shooting!). Perosnally I'd stand down Henderson and Big Andy, pack the midfield with Spearing, Adam and Shelvey (assuming Gerrard doesn't play) and 2 of Kuyt, Downing or Bellers in the wide positions with Suarez through the middle. Big game for Carra coming back into the side after Agger-Skrtel have been so impressive.
