When will the rescheduled derby take place?

Has a date been dedcided for the refix of the derby?

And would I be right to say it has to be a midweek game?

In answer to question number 1, Not yet.
In answer to question number 2, if the FA has anything to do with it it will be the eve of a big game.

My guess would be either on a Champions League night when that gets going again or if both got knocked out of the FA cup then on that free week.

It will get shoehorned in later in the year, the Spurs - Everton game that was cancelled on the opening day was only recently played.
They never rush.

A mid-week game under the lights would be amazing

Sometime around May would be nice.

But if cup games in all competitions were played midweek, like across Europe, the league programme wouldn't be disrupted. Every game to this point in this competition has been played midweek, why not the final?

Remember the Sanderveld/Jug-eared Jeffers 'Hand-bags at 10 paces' incident in the 90's (?) was a midweek game.

It is interesting to know that the FA or any other body will be fined by UEFA by staging other games on the same night as a CL game. This has actually happened already but seemed to slip under the radar.

The 1999 game with Westerveld and Jeffers was a Monday night.
I'm guessing but the last time there was a midweek game would sadly have been after Hillsborough at Goodison?

That was at Goodison, same season though wasn't the Anfield league match was played on a Monday night I think, ended 1-1.
